Two reasons really.
1. the characters. Supporting a team with people like Terry, Carroll, Cole etc is like defending a chav who mugs grannies because we share the same nationality.
2. the quality of football and effort. We haven't had a good tournament in such a long time and so many displays are not only devoid of quality but the grit and determination are also usually lacking. Things don't seem to be improving so it's hard to get excited.
I probably won't watch tomorrow's game which is a first.
