i imagine they could be many reasons why it would never be genuinely assembled but there is one certainly obvious reason when realised.

I can't believe people think Samuel Eto'o, one of the world's best strikers, is coming to Tottenham Hotspur.

I love this club but we're eleventh and Eto'o is in his prime, recently won the CL and is playing for Barcelona.

Tal-Ben Haim is pretty tall. That would be a hell of a starting 11, no doubt, but if I ever saw it at the Lane I would have to be committed--mind-blowing in so many ways.

You've taken out Hutton and kept O'Hara. Glaringly wrong.

trouble is Hutton can't be selected unless you drop Alves, or unless you wan't to play him out of position at LB which is unlikely

Bale should be played at LM and Lee at LB, much stronger side then IMO :wink:

with a natural left footer in Bale at LM, it then doesn't matter that Lee is right footed, it is only a problem when both players on the left have no left foot

And Hutton's much better IMO, especially in the premier league, our team looks lightweight at best, Hutton gives a bit of steel in defence, and he's an awesome attacking outlet, the perfect RB. Well done Comolli (or whoever signed him)

Why is Woody missing? Why would Spurs spend £25m on a RB when they've just spent £8m on Hutton and not spend on a LMF? Why play O'hara, who's not a LB, instead of Bale? Is it Lassana Diarra or Mahamoud Diarra you have as DMF?
