Some idiots but a lot of level headed decent fans on there.
Especially since someone from here went on their toby thread and put them down saying they would never be as big as spurs etc...

David in Sweden sounds lovely and not at all contorted by venomous hate. Not sure where he gets some of his numbers from though (particularly re Holtby, and the suggestion that we made a loss on Stambouli).
It is interesting just how much some fans (of all clubs) consider a club to have made a loss on a player simply based on the fees spent and received. While we can't argue to have done well out of some of the players we bought with the Bale money, to suggest we've made a staggering loss on Kaboul is bizarre. Since his return to the club from Pompey he:
Helped us qualify for the Champions League (worth lots of money)
Helped us reach the Q/Fs of the Champions League (worth lots of money)
Scored the winner at the Emirates (great moment for fans, probably shifted some merch too)
Made over 100 appearances for us, which is what I'd consider a par return for any signing.
So I'd say we got our monies worth from Kaboul, less maybe the cost of all the medical fees for his injuries, but thats probably been more than covered by what Sunderland will have paid us.
They also don't consider that we're not selling those players who have risen greatly in value since we signed them - Rose, Eriksen, Chadli, Walker, Lloris - all would command a greater fee now that what we spent on them. Not to mention the youth products who are now worth 8-figure fees (Bentaleb, Kane, even Townsend for a bit less). I think we even made a profit on Kyle Naughton!
Looking at fees spent and received alone on only players who we have deemed surplus to requirements is a pretty narrow and warped basis for suggesting that a club is headed for a fall.
IIRC Naughton cost more of the fee than Walker- Walker was almost like buy this one and get this one half price.Yes, I think Naughton cost us 4 million pounds and we sold for 5.

maybe-Well he does only have half a brain
LOL at the Villa fan who thinks Libor Kozac will keep Ade out of their first team!
That guy is proper dogshit.
Rawk:
Any chance of Dele Alli starting on Saturday? Really interested to see how he does.

Take a look on here boys. The arrogance of these wanker United fans is astounding. Almost like they all think they are destined to sign Harry Kane.
To be fair most players would still jump at the chance to play for a club with the history and prestiege of United, thats not even considering the wage rise. I do think/hope Harry is a little different. But yes their arrogance is quite something.
No offence meant, it is what it is. Spurs are smaller club than United, City, Chelsea & Arsenal even in England.
He could and may well stay, but if there is interest at all from LVG he really should get it done.
£40m + Hernandez would be a good bit of business for Spurs.

I want Kane. He could make us into the Big Red Machine. He'd be a Demon. He'd walk through hell, fire and bimstone to sign for us.
yeah that bimstone is one hell of a bitch
All that fire and Bimstone he walked through earlier in the season when he said he wasn't interested in moving...
