Arsenal could feasibly finish the season level on points with us and be in the final of the Uefa cup, possibly even win it.

Have they had a worse season than us? Yes, we should get top 4 and the CL final is better than the Ropey League final. But is there much in it? Especially if they win it and we don't.
Who cares, we’re in a CL final

Absolutely yes they've had a worse season, the very fact that we gave them 4 points and gave them ample opportunities to overtake us and consolidate and they couldn't even manage it, not once. If you look at the general direction of both teams in regards to where they are heading it's clear who's had the better season.

Robbie actually talking sense. Troopz is big mad, incredibly triggered by us being in a CL final :ROFLMAO: Tosser.

Troopz offering up insightful content as ever by just repeating "they won't win it", for someone who says "understand" so often he doesn't seem to "understand" the idea of providing quality content.

You say "gave them opportunities" as if we chose to lose at home to Wolves, Wet Spam away to Burnley, Southampton and Bournemouth.
That's 12 points we should have had in the bag.
League wise, we're not better than them. The only thing separating is could be GD come Sunday.

They've lost less games than us. Quite a few. Draws are boring but they get points and they stop your rivals taken them too.

I think Robbie & the guy on the left are right with regards to us being out of their shadow.
As a team right now, should we go on and win the final, we are ahead of them.
However, one CL win doesn't hide that they won things consistently under Wenger, which gives them a bit of an edge as a club.

That being said, how much have they spent in the last 24 months, yet these three are demanding the cheque book is opened and serious investment in the squad is made.
£73 million spent last summer, £140 the season before that...

The dad of one of the lad's in my son's team is a Gooner through and through, but he has given us nothing but credit for this run.
He was messaging me via WhatsApp all through the game last night and none of it was a negative word.

We could be separated by 20 points or 2 goals, the table doesn't lie and you deserve to end up where you end up - I'm not getting into that loss thing, it's a silly argument and can be easily countered by saying that we've won far more than then - pretty meaningless which is why you go by points which historically has always been a factor when separating positions of teams.

GET THE CHEQUEBOOK OUT, GET THE CHEQUEBOOK OUT

Meanwhile Poch has taken us to the Champions League final through actually coaching and improving his players on a limited, and sometimes non-existent, budget for years.

Ultimately, I don't know a single spurs fan who, champions League aside, claims that we have had a great season. Its been a slog, even when we were up challenging for 1st for a Month or so.

Their's has been equally as dismal without certain mitigating factors that I deem to have hindered us greatly this season and in my opinion, our issues are more easily rectified. I consider them to be a worse team than us on paper and pitch despite the points total on the board.

But honestly. Our champions League run has to be a deciding factor when rating the two teams season. Their Europa run doesn't compare in the slightest.

Lots of posts on RAWK about our team having no experience at this level in this competition.

True, but when most of your first team spent the summer going to the last w/e if the World Cup or winning the Asian Cup it doesn't seem such an advantage.

Lol

It’s not like we have a World Cup winning captain in goal or anything..........

This must be killing Arsenal fans simply because they have the most insecure and desperate fan base that find comfort in our failings in order to mask their own team's deficiencies as a club. In the past if they had a bad season or failed to match their ambition they would always look at us and laugh and say 'well at least we're not Spurs' because we were below them. They don't have that now, it's one thing regressing yourselves as a club but another thing when your dearest rivals are showing clear signs of progression on and off the pitch they have nothing to fall back on.

The only thing they can hang onto is our lack of trophies and our bottle but if we win the CL they won't have much to say...although they'll probably move the goalposts again by saying we got to win the league or something.

Robbie is bang on the money here. If they get into that mindset of "we're bigger then them, it doesn't matter' then what happens is 15 years pass by and we are streaks ahead and they are stuck wandering round midtable.

You only have to look at Leeds, Villa, Forest, etc to see that history only goes so far. Fans from all of these clubs have goaded us over the years and pointed to the trophy cabinet, yet are now a million miles away due to mismanagement. This could absolutely happen to Arsenal, especially if their fanbase continues to think that they are still a 'huge' club. It's been 15 years since their last league win and they've barely made a scratch on their title rivals since then.

Let's hope all of this comes to fruition and that we can sit from a pretty position whilst they are nowhere to be seen.

Also they hate the idea that the British media won't be focussed 100% on themselves in the build-up.

It'll still be 70-80% focussed on them, but that's not enough...they want it all.
They're publicity whores, everything has to be about them.

they should be happy though, if Ajax had beat us they wouldn't have any extra supporters, because it's us they have gained all non Spurs Londoners wanting them to win
