Yup agreed.

we looked tired so hoping arsenal are tired also and depleted personnel wise.

Newcastle will be fresh and hungry given it’s at home and the Tifo stuff is on.

If martinelli and sake etc turn up they can win but those players seem tired and hobbling around.

Whereas they have had an extra day of rest compared to us, they did play the majority of the NLD with ten men, so should hopefully have been more taxing on them.

I think it all depends on what Newcastle turn up rather than Arsenal. Arsenal are the type of team that if you don't turn up, they will grind a win out somehow, however if you turn up and go after them they crumble.

If Newcastle turn up they can definitely win. I'm not sure I want to watch it.

Saka was looking fantastic not too long ago but has really faded in the past few weeks. Get the feeling Arteta is making him play through injury, or as you say he's just really knackered.

He's at the heart of everything good they do going forward and makes the whole team tick, so fingers crossed he has another poor game tonight.
Yeah he is playing through injections apparently so isn’t fit. Obviously needs a rest badly so no way he’s fit tonight and firing.

martinelli hobbled off too so I’m sure he’s not fully fit either. Arteta playing a dangerous game at the moment.

For sure, Brentford did us a solid yesterday.

Would be nice for Everton to be going into their game against Arsenal still needing a point.

this type of excitement is what we live for. We followed up our big win vs arsenal by getting over the line a mere 60 hours later against burnley.

The pressure on arsenal tonight is now huge. their fans know, their players know. Top players and teams take these situations by the scruff and win comfortably with a well executed game plan. But arsenal are not that team under arteta.

Now... they should win, their players are easily good enough. but the tension, and the fact every spurs fan is tuning in too is so exciting.

Yeah, I think tonight's match will decide whether we're in the CL or not next season tbh

No matter which way you look at it. From whichever angle you wish to view if from. Absolutely, emphatically, categorically, and quite literally.

Tonight's match will not decide whether we're in the Champions League.

I too am unsure if I can watch it :D May do something else and check the Sky Sports live app from time to time. Then tune in if Newcastle go 1-0 up!

If Arsenal can bounce back from our spanking and take maximum points from Newcastle and Everton with their injuries, then fair play.

I still think there's another twist though.

Yeah, that would be perfect. If they're desperate for a win, they'll be torn apart, I think, much like in their naïve display against us.

Crazy to think that we could have one foot firmly in CL for next season by 10pm tonight depending on the result. Not that I think it's job done, I actually don't think Norwich will be as easy as some do but a loss tonight for Arsenal especially, leaving us only having to get a point at Norwich would be an incredible position.

As we saw yesterday, things are never quite straightforward with us involved!

Absolutely. All my mind is on tonight's game though as of now. I'm glad Arsenal have to play an away game where the crowd will be loud and firmly behind the side and the team in concern only have them to focus on. Feel like they really got away with it against Chelsea and West Ham in games that would usually be more challenging for them, for a few different reasons.
