TBF he should be taking credit for getting 90mins out of old players like Schwarzer, Lampard and Cole. I saw Schwarzer collecting his pension from the post office last week
Cole was immense according to BBC. Can see us going for him in the summer. He'd love to the piss the Gooners off some more, I'm sure.

When Pulis and Allardyce can also get their teams to play other ways and win titles you will have a point. Until then...

Haha, what? So you have to be one of the best managers in the world to be praised for doing this shit? What are you saying?

No, he really shouldn't be praised for having a few 30+ players (one being a keeper) in the team...

Agree to an extent, but not completely. Yes, it's great to dig deep and show that sort of mental fortitude, and winning is ultimately what it's all about, at all costs no matter how shit it looks. However, I'd love us to be able to win in the style of the Bayern of last year, by playing attractive direct football, rather than tedious tika-taka or attritional bus parking.
Goes without saying mate but in the medium term, I want to see us seen as a successful side with something tangible to show for it under proper methodical guidance.

I really didn't think I'd hate the prospect of Liverpool winning the title as much as I actually do...

Fucking come on City!

Nothing would be as unbearable as the wankfest that would ensue for the next two decades if Liverpool won the league.
I would prefer it to another title to one of the oil clubs. Liverpool is at least going about it in a decent way and doesn't depend on criminals to fund the club.

If city win today, they have the tough task of playing away at Everton next saturday.

Win that and they'll go top as Liverpool don't play til the Sunday.

It'll put pressure on Pool away to Palace

When Mourinho does it it's a masterclass, when Pulis or Allardyce does it it's a disgrace to football.

I'd have Pulis as manager of the year cause of the job he's done at Palace this season. Allardyce setup hi West Ham side perfectly to beat us at the Lane this season. I don't always like the way they have played but there is no golden rule that says you must win football matches playing beautiful free flowing football.

You got some statistical evidence to back that up?
