Yes! Get in Pikey Chav ****s! Can they show that Liverpool fan crying for the next two hours instead of the Man City game?

Sky Sports will probably have to create an additional 20 channels to accommodate the relegation battle and title race and CL race and Europe race.

Obviously, the battle for 6th is the most important one.
It's the result Sky wanted for sure!

God Mourinho will be unbearable now. Especially after playing a 'weakened' team.

Also the gerrard mistake that led to the goal was his own fault, he never looked around and he naturally put the ball on his right foot ready for a long ball and when he saw BA, he panicked and try to recover and slipped.

For an experienced player in such a game he should of known better.

I thought they missed Henderson today

Well that was utterly predictable. Awful, negative, attritional football but it bloody works. Requires huge mental strength and discipline from the players.

It's fucking boring and I wouldn't be surprised if they do it at against Atletico again, despite being at home.
If we did that, you'd still have the bloody purists moaning about not playing the 'Spurs way'!

Give me winning football with visible coaching ethos any fucking day!

When Mourinho does it it's a masterclass, when Pulis or Allardyce does it it's a disgrace to football.

What Pulis has done with Palace is remarkable, Allardyce can produce good football (Bolton) but chooses not to with West Ham despite better resources.

I reckon City will slip up. They've got to win 4 in a row whilst Liverpool have only got to win 2.

I'd much prefer City to win the league than Liverpool or Chelsea though.

When Pulis and Allardyce can also get their teams to play other ways and win titles you will have a point. Until then...

Are you sure, I thought Sky wanted Liverpool to win the league
Ultimately, may be but a 3-way title showdown on the last day is a mouthwatering ratings prospect for them - one they will milk to the absolute fullest!

Agree to an extent, but not completely. Yes, it's great to dig deep and show that sort of mental fortitude, and winning is ultimately what it's all about, at all costs no matter how shit it looks. However, I'd love us to be able to win in the style of the Bayern of last year, by playing attractive direct football, rather than tedious tika-taka or attritional bus parking.

So seeing as Gerrard was at fault for the first goal, I wonder if 'the best fans in the world'™ will start burning effigies of him again?

Wankers.

He played the kids. Ba, Lampard, Cole, Ivanovic, Mikel, Matic, Schrülle, Schwarzer and Azpilicueta are all U21 players. Kudos to Mourinho.
TBF he should be taking credit for getting 90mins out of old players like Schwarzer, Lampard and Cole. I saw Schwarzer collecting his pension from the post office last week
