I suspect Levy is flirting with Poch and just waiting for the expected bad results during January (City home and away and the NLD) to provide reason to replace Conte. Levy is probably seeking Poch's opinion on transfer targets as he is the most likely candidate to be managing them come February.

Hope I am wrong but I think Levy is far too ingrained to have any chance of removing him.

Transfers? I doubt Levy thinks we need any with Poch re-integrating Lo Celso and Ndomebele....

Does anyone really think Poch is gonna come back to just tread water too, though? Okay, he had a rough time at PSG, but he’s not gonna accept the lack of spending he did during the stadium move. Most likely Kane will go too, so it will be the same painful rebuild that he never got first time round.
What’s to say Levy won’t say the same thing to Poch that he said to Conte then reneg at the first opportunity. I’m sure if/when Conte goes he will be offering Poch everything he wants to get him to sign.

Ally G says leaks will come this week… and ESPN post
“Sources close to the club have questioned whether Antonio Conte's physically demanding training sessions are fully appropriate for the physical demands of a condensed, unprecedented season with a World Cup in the middle of it.”
You’d almost think it was orchestrated…

The club has been poorly run from the top for a long while now. The scouting and youth structures are an absolute joke. In addition to that the chairman isn't able to make a plan and stick to it, we lurch from one style of manager to the next, getting them a few, but not enough, players specific to their needs, then sacking the manager, rendering the signings poor ones due to the new manager's system and we repeat that same mistake every year or two.

The owners do not have the money/ambition to be successful with a manager like Mourinho or Conte so should instead get the very best project manager and recruitment team and not bottle it and sack them when they don't finish in the top 4 (though quite why the owners feel we should ever be top 4 with only a top 6 or 7 budget I don't know).

Twice really good managers have fallen into Levy's laps.... Both of them were sacked due to starting to make demands of the owners that matched the league finishes they were delivering. It is absolutely telling that Arsenal's owners are trying to bring in a very expensive player this window from their position of strength at the top of the league. Compare this to what Levy delivered for Redknapp when we were in great form and had a decent shout of the title that January.

I think we should accept that Herc's frustration got the better of him on this one. Having said that, there's more than enough reason to protest anyway. I'm pretty sure nobody is going to protest who wasn't going to anyway, I think perhaps this thread could be charitably categorised as a 'call to arms' based on what we all know already

Yep was going to say in the other threads but seems better here, seems that fans are finally uniting as they see the real issue, no manager will change that, we really need new owners with football as the main ambition even if that is so they can line their pockets more, but trying to line your pockets every other way but footballing success is not in our interest, having the greatest stadium with no path to success is not in the fans interests. It is good to see many people I have argued with over the years finally come over to this realization, I'm not saying it in a gloating way as I know it is in the interest of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club that we unite to bring us back to being a football club first and foremost, so welcome aboard! Levy out would be a great start!

WE NEED TO UNITE BEFORE WE ARE NO MORE

Is the club about to fold or something? Sounds a bit dramatic to me.

I think he would be absolutely mad to come back to Spurs, I wouldn't if I was him.

There is a lot of stuff which is very concerning I cannot reveal here, which nobody can dispute. We now need to make a stand.

This is not something I am doing because of a few knee jerks. I don’t do Twitter, and never will. But those of you who does, you need to start making it count. Bombard the club with emails. It is not about Conte. This is where many are totally misguided.

I have been sharing behind the scenes for a long while. And they can tell you I have never been wrong on this. The club is in a total mess. One person is causing this. And if you believe Poch or another manager is the answer, you are in for a rude awakening.

Let us unite as fans to drive Mr Daniel Levy out of our club.
Wow just wow ??‍♂️

He may well do. I guess a difference is that Poch knows him very well. I just find the idea pushed that Poch will come in and be Levy’s lapdog very farfetched.

Were in 5th and only 6 points off 2nd. I get that were in a bad patch, but we've got key players out at the moment.

We'd probably be more successful if we got behind the team and stopped moaning and booing every time we face a little bit of adversity.

We backed Conte in the last window- lets actually see what happens this window and next. Its only 4th Jan..

Very apt profile picture. (Not that I disagree with you... just saying!)

We have had Conte being quite straight with us and ITK’s saying all is not well and you would be a fool not to notice the club on the pitch seems a bit of a mess.

Issue is @Hercules and I fully understand there are things you and other likes @Trix cannot say. However it’s hard to get a movement on things the general fans may not know behind the scenes. There is more than enough open issues for I think some protest certainly inside the ground.

On the plus side I do believe most fans are directing their annoyance at the ownership not the manager. Going after the manager after so many managers have failed under Levy is a bit stupid.
Thing is mate things will need to get far worse before the mob turn in enough numbers to make any real difference. As we have been saying for months VL is sat in the background making all the right noises regarding Levy but it's a tough sell to Daddy to back any manager over Levy when the fans want the manager out, as it's far easier.

The best course of action is to unite behind the manager as it sends a clear message to her and her old man that we see Levy as the bigger problem, but there are too many supporters that can't see the bigger picture imo unfortunately.
