As a rule of thumb, no serious conclusions should be drawn from a Europa League opponent of this standard, particularly as Wolfsberger’s heads dropped long before the final whistle.

The thing with Vinicius is that his hold up play is very hit and miss (mostly miss) but his link up play is very good when he has players around him. Reminds me quite a bit of Llorente in that respect and we never played to his strengths. I think Vinicius would work very well with Kane, Son, Bale, Dele and quite a few more, but stick him up top on his own and bang long balls up to him, he's going to struggle. I'd like to see him and Kane on the pitch together since I think they'd work very well together in some circumstances.

Yeah he needs players around/off him to get the best from him.
Like what i saw of his link up play but when he's isolated, although he will fight for the ball it's not gonna get the best out of him.

He looks a like a player without confidence to me.

He took his goals well, although he messed up a sitter & as Jenas said he seems to come alive when the ball comes to him in the box.

I think he's like Soldado for me, good footballer, but finding it difficult to give his best behind Kane.

Looks a good finisher so when allowed to get into the box and play he is very good. But he is not the finished article yet with other aspects of his play lacking, at the moment

Id take him if he was at this level and only 22/23, especially at the price quoted.

Well he's better than Janssen, Soldado and Llorente so I'd keep him. But not at 40 mil. Needs to be negotiated down to 20.

Well we've got the guy to do that and yes, I'd totally concur with that.

I've warmed to the kid, when he shared his life story with Moura, I took to him.

I know sentiment plays very little in the game today, but I just hope it works out for him.

He always seems to play a touch better with Moura on the pitch, but that's noy how football works, the other players need to trust him and play to his strength.

The current price is too high. We can get better for that amount of money.

I wonder if a second year loan deal could be on the cards. We pay Benfica a small fee and cover the wages.
