***URGENT***Realistic Targets? ***CONTRIBUTE NOW***

Quite simple really. I'm trying to guage who people think we can realistically get to do the job as our main CF/goalscorer next year?

If we try and come up with a list, then I can hopefully add a poll we can vote on and get some kind of overall feeling on the site as to who can fill the void.

So...over to you...

I'll keep updating this original post with the names as people are suggested, but please do try and be realistic here and if necessary, give reasons.

Remember, we are looking for the man who will come in as our #1 striker, not one for the future.

Peter Odemwingie - because he's pretty good, can't think of any other reason

Are players like adebayor unrealistic targets? It's quite hard to name 'realistic' targets but i've tried.

Could handle that as an upgrade on Crouch, but certainly not the glamour signing we are after.

If we're bringing in three strikers, I'd go for Vucinic as the player to go straight into the first team, Rodallega as a reasonably priced back-up player, or alternative to Lennon on the right of an attacking midfield three and Leandro to come in during the January window.

I'd like to see Keane and Defoe out during this window, with either or both of Crouch out during the January window, as I'm sure we won't be selling all in the next six weeks or so.

Not massively glamourous, but I'm still confident we'd be hugely improved with those players.

Llorente - Veto (Bilbao wont sell to us and we're not big enough for him).
Falcao - Veto (Never come to us, we're too small).
Vucinic - Realistic chance.
Rossi - Veto (Looks like he's signed for Juve).
Adabayor - Possible chance if City decide to play ball with us.
Drogba - Wages a problem, highly unlikely, only chance of Chelsea dealing with us now is if we sell them Modric.
Eto’o - Veto (never going to happen).
Gyan - Good chance of this one IMO. We have players they could have in return and is prem proven (to a degree).
Sturridge - Veto (Chelsea won't sell him to us)
Odemwingie - Possible option
Rodallega - Another possible
Kenwyne Jones - Veto (i think the boat has truly sailed on him, thank god given his goalscoring record in the prem is as bad as our lot last season).
