Right I've said this before but I'm going to say it again. It royally fucks me off that every other **** who is in this tournament smashes it yet we were in it for 10 years straight and did absolutely fuck all. Utd and Chelsea got in it once - won it. Arsenal made the final, even Middlesbrough and Fulham made the final and West Ham are probably next. Let's face it Leicester are doing better than we would have done in the Conference (even if we had snuck through the groups).

Why were we so shit all the time, we should have won this competition really given all the time we entered the damn thing.

Our UEFA Cup/Europa League history since 2007 is nothing short of disgraceful.

2006/7 - QF - Lost to Sevilla, went toe to toe with them, our fans were assaulted, shit happens.
2007/8 - RO16 - Lost on pens to PSV, we then signed their eccentric Brazilian goalkeeper.
2008/9 - RO32 - Lost to Shakhtar, Harry prioritised the league.

2011/12 - GS - The nadir under Harry, failing to get out of a group with PAOK, Rubin Kazan and Shamrock Rovers. Harry didn't want the extra games.
2012/13 - QF - Basel. Lost on pens.
2013/14 - RO16 - Benfica. I don't remember this tie at all.
2014/15 - RO32 - Fiorentina, didn't win home or away.
2015/16 - RO16 - Dortmund absolutely battered us.
2016/17 - RO32 - Dumped out of CL, played Genk, Dele saw red and we were shit.
2020/21 - QF - Fucking away a 2 goal advantage against Zagreb. Just horrifically bad.



That is a shocking record and I hate how lightly we've taken this tournament under most of our managers.

That is because we have been shit as in we were shit. People think we are better than what we are - or rather were...

I didnt care about the Conference League but the fact remains we lost against fucking Mura.
