I'm just amazed that we hadn't agreed the fee with City as part of a deal which would see a hefty sum going Adebayor's way.

Do you really think Andre is there negotiating with leandro when we've not been able to get near agreeing a fee with the club in over 18months?? More likely ganso or Oscar in my opinion, I know JJ has stated otherwise but I wouldn't be surprised if this was a bluff and a deal was brewing

I have this vision of Daniel Levy in a room with any random agent. Beside him is a Scrooge McDuck-like pile of Tony Benns. And this is what happens for hour upon hour
Step 1) Levy slides a 10 pound note across the table, goto Step 2
Step 2) Levy says "What do you think about that?", goto Step 3
Step 3) Agents says "no", goto Step 4
Step 4) Repeat step 1.

Not convinced by the tweeter but it's my opinion, however tenuous, that if anyone was involved in this complex deal, that Kaka was most likely.
For all that his wages would be daft and for all that he's beyond his best, even the naysayers would have to crack a smile if it came off. Which is very unlikely IMO.

This guy is a WUM I believe. He said AVB was house-hunting in London when he was reportedly still in Fiji on vacation.
Also, new ITK suggests that RM is trying to offload Kaka before getting Modric and there are two deals in place regarding Modric. One is just cash. The other is cash + Sahin. You can read more about it here.

Depends on the circumstances. But why the 'same old Spurs' quote? We dont pay silly wages, everyone knows that. So why is it the same old Spurs if Ade is refusing to sign because we can't match his Man City wages?
