Hello fellow yids at SC!

I will be travelling all the way from Hong Kong for next week's CL game. Naturally, I am very excited about the occasion. I have been to WHL many years ago but the new stadium + CL night should grant me a mindblowing experience.

I have a plane to catch at seven the next morning. So I am wondering:

1. What is the best way to go to Heathrow after the game? As it will take time to leave the stadium, will public transport still be running approaching midnight?

2. Is Heathrow opening overnight? Or I will have to settle at an airport hotel for the night?

Thanks a lot for your kind assistance.

Heathrow never closes. If you're OK to sit in an airport overnight, then you can do that.

In terms of getting there straight after the game, if you can get yourself onto the Victoria line at Tottenham Hale or Seven Sisters, you can then switch over to the Piccadilly line at Kings Cross or Green Park and that will take you all the way to Heathrow.

Easiest is victoria line from Tottenham Hale and change at Finsbury Park (cross the platform) and you can chill on the picadilly line all the way to Heathrow.

You can stay in the airport overnight, no big deal but there is also a pod hotel that might be a little more comfortable and gives you somewhere to freshen up

Forgot Finsbury Park - much the best option.

dame if I'm at the game, and got a bus full to bring home, could of advertised a TAXI to Heathrow:whistle: a lot more expensive but wouldn't be overcrowded and as quick, meaning less hanging around.

but as I can't do as instructed take the cheap route and hope you enjoy your night(y)
