You need to do more research on how the 100M was spent. By the way, last season AVB brought in the highest points total of any Spurs manager EVER in a season. The fact that other teams edged us out has little to do with him - also keep in mind that was his first season as well, but I guess that doesn't count for squat.

Laughable.

No other word for it.

I thought we were completely clueless today, no game plan,no bite etc. It looked like the players just sorted it out between themselves

Am I missing something... Sandro comment on Twitter states he is fit and hoped for a spurs win.

Wtf is Tim going on TV and saying The Beast is not good enough at the moment in quite an attacking manner.

He didn't mention fitness levels at all in the BT interview. He said Sandro wasn't good enough to be in the squad at the moment.

By saying "at a level" i would suggest that he means fitness. A play on words i know but i think that's footie talk for fitness levels.

Tbf Sandro has been poor this season, even though I love the man and think he is a great player on form. But the biggest problem with Tim Sherwood is he needs to learn that you do not publicly say these things. Speak to Sandro privately if you need to, no need to make news out of it.

Also even if (like well may be the case) it is simply about fitness the point still stands.

Which shows you how bad things have gotten.

If we didn't know tim was such a loose-lipped, loose-cannon I would accept that it's not the best thing to do. But seeing the way he's has gone about his business since coming here, it is a sign of how low we have been dragged down by this chump.

Most of the players aren't happy with this guy.

Please provide evidence. Oh and not from a player who can't make the team. Just one quote, or a line saying "i am not happy with our manager" will suffice.

No body language, psychological bullshit may be classed as evidence. O.K.?

Tim said he isn't good enough for the SQUAD. Sandro should have been a bench option today.

The players respected AVB enough not to laugh at him on twitter. What Ade tweet are you referring to???

Look, this is you opinion based on what?

Were you at the training sessions this week?

Just because you have a Sandro poster on your bedroom wall doesn't mean that Sherwood should pick him. He has picked a winning team again, and had we lost or drawn you would have had a valid argument. Hate the fucking manager all you want but make some sense by stating that fact from the off. You would have more credibility for your posts.

The Ade i am referring to was the one (not unlike Kane) that has been selected to play for the starting eleven based solely on their effort and performances, and not based on some karate kicking YouTube video.

I was talking about season after and he said he has a plan, and it seems Barcelona has been always the final step in that move

The plan might be waiting till he is 26 or something for all we know. He is a young footballer and he is still developing. There is no rush for him to move to Barca. Personally at the moment he would hardly get a game at Barca, such is the quality of their midfield. In a couple of years players will leave retire, and he will get better/prove his qualities over a long stretch of time. Then would be the right time to move to Barca (though there is no guarantee they will be any good by the time that comes).

I'd say that was being generous in your interpretation of Sherwood's words. He could quite easily have meant he isn't playing at the same level (as in not good enough) as the players picked in the match day squad.

One thing I do know is that if Sherwood communicates to the players like he does to the media then he won't get much further in his managerial career imo. He has to be clear in his message to the media otherwise stuff like this happens and it all gets blown out of proportion.

Indeed but I think Barca will assess their options to replace xavi in the summer. Alot is on Cesc's plate and I think he is better suited to playing the advance role as well as one or two others coming through. Whereas that role xavi may require someone from outside. I think Torres will be one they want but I don't think he will be ready

Irrespective of how good (fitness/effort) the Karate Kid currently is we should beat Fulham without the need for him to play only his sixteenth game of the season for us. It's not as if he has influenced games that we have won or lost, or indeed drawn. Any other suggestion that he would is based on speculation. Man Citeh scored six and Liverpool five with Sandro in the side so the idea that he is a midfield general is far from true.

Not denying his talent, but he alone is no more a saviour in a Spurs starting eleven than any other starter.

Actually Liverpool scored one against us with Sandro in the side. The other 4 were scored after he'd been taken off injured (and 3 of those were after we'd gone down to 10 men).

A more balanced interview. Quite obvious that as a former player, you will only get into a Sherwood starting eleven if you train hard and impress. I see nothing wrong with that.

I think you got my drift...............he's not a Messiah. No better than a lot of our midfield players, but someone who does "fucking run about a bit". Looks good on YouTube with his dressing room antics though.

In general no player who wants to continue to play football professionally will come out and blatantly say they are not happy with their manager. Few are as unprofessional and dumb as sherwood.

I agree there's no problem with basis team selection on impressing in training but I'm still not sure he comes across great in that interview.

I just don't think it's a good idea to keep saying 'not good enough' about one of your own players again and again. Also, seemingly promoting himself as one of the only managers in the premier league willing to give young players a chance is a) arrogant and b) wrong.
