They really should set the TV schedule for a game before the ticket goes on sale. They're talking about upping from 200 to 270 live games too so less 3pm Saturday kick offs. Also there could be a new provider like DAZN involved which will make multiple subscriptions required to follow them all. I don't mind Amazon as I always just free trial for the month which helps with shopping for Christmas. I get TNT and Sky Sports with Virgin. Its when they add more where it gets too much. Like with La Liga when it was on Sky Sports but now you need Viaplay. So annoying you can't get them all in one Sports package.
Can someone translate this please? (Asking for my Grandad:cautious:).

Basically you could see Sky Sports showing Monday night, Friday night, and Sunday afternoon games. TNT showing Saturday night and European cups. Dazn (which has its own subscription) showing 12:30pm Saturday games and Amazon with 2 rounds of Christmas fixtures.

Fingers crossed the early chances don't fall to Richarlison, or else it could be another squeaky one.

To be fair, all our players have probably been guilty of poor conversion rates this year for shots to goals. We really do need to start taking more of the chances we create.

Not convinced Richarlison will start. I think it could be Johnson on the left. I hope we get to see Gil at some point though. Also think Richarlison to come on for Son as don't think he will have 90mins in him.

Will be a test for Holberg in Bissouma’s position. When he has come on as sub he doesn’t really look like he fits that system. Bit too slow at times.
Now, this is not exclusive to you, and not a personal attack in any way, shape or form, but why is it that so many have problems spelling H Ø J B J E R G?

I understand the Ø part obviously, but that can just be replaced with an O.

In general it surely cannot be that hard to spell correct? I don't see many people having trouble spelling e.g. Kulusevski, Bentancur or Bissouma. Is it because the pronounciation is weird/unnatural to a native English speaker? "Holberg" sounds nothing like Højbjerg, which is pronounced Hoi-bjeer (like beer with a j in it) in Danish.

It was the same with another very simple name like Eriksen, which was continually butchered into Eriksson, Ericssen etc.

Has it become a meme? Cause' I simply don't get it.

Unless it's the first letter of a name, the letter j has no business being in there.

It just feels weird. That's my take. 😅

I'm really interested to see how we perform without Bissouma in the side. He's been absolutely pivotal this season.

Keep seeing people mention Bissouma and worrying about us being like we were in the cup defeat earlier in the season…

Likely XI tonight:

Vicario

Porro
Romero
VDV
Udogie

Hojbjerg
Sarr
Maddison

Deki
Son
Richarlison

And, the line up we used in the Carabao;

Forster

Emerson
Sanchez
VDV
Davies

Hojbjerg
Skipp
GLC

Solomon
Richarlison
Perisic

……..it’s an absolute world of difference really, we should be performing at a much higher level tonight than we were ever capable of in that game.

If you get this upset about spelling a name incorrectly I’m surprised you can last a full spurs match without becoming a gibbering wreck.
I shall stick to Pierre in the future.

My biggest gripe is people doing it as N'dombele when it has never had the that.

I think it’s because Bissouma has been so bloody good this season that anyone else is a big drop off. If Declan Rice had been playing like Bissouma , most of the Sky sports staff would have been orgasming all over the place.

I will say this. Whoever scores the most wins this game. Hopefully it's us. If we score equally it's a draw. So hope the boys understand this.

Start like we did against Luton but actually finish one of the chances please.

Would like to see Johnson on the LW for Richarlison but if he's not quite fit enough then same team as normal just no Bissouma which isn't ideal but we should have more than enough to beat this Fulham team. They struggle with goals so we need to be defensively solid and attack them from the off.

I'm not upset at all, just perplexed since it doesn't seem to be a problem with longer or more complicated names.

What if we score 2 ogs but only 1 in the right net, that's 3 goals we scored but still lose..... :cautious:

Little nervous about tonight to be totally honest.

Not sure why, maybe the perils of expectation.

Anyway, if we're not winning by 3 clear goals after 20 minutes tonight, can people please not lose their shit in this thread. Thanks 👍
