I'm so pleased this on TV and I don't have to rely on the Internet today. Just hope for the result we want.

How's everyone feeling about this? I don't know if it's wrong or not but I'd rather lose this and win at QPR than win this and lose at QPR if it was one or the other.

I'd be a lot more excited (and nervous) about this if we were in a more secure league position.

I have no nerves at all for this game, not sure why really  maybe because its still just a semi final. I guess what will be will be, no point getting worked up about it.

We need to get into the winning habit, regardless.

I'm looking to this to be more of a confidence boost more than anything else, we need a strong performance here to use as a springboard/second wind for the rest of the season.

I'm so focused on CL I''m finding it hard to see past this game as just being a mechanism to give us a big lift to surge towards it.

A win here could re-light our fire.

Leaving now for the pub before heading to Wembley. Feeling strangely relaxed, sure it'll build as the game approaches ! COYS !!!!!

a win today and at qpr should be the order of the day , we can beat chelsea as its happened in the past and we outplayed them two weeks ago, even in the games we have been losing we have played well, what we need is the defenders to be on playing amazing stuff and not fucking up. My opinion is that gallas and nelsen should play as king has been a bit dodgy lately. We also need pace on the wings as chelsea play quite narrow .

Yea that's the only way I'm looking at it, although if we lose I'm sure I'll just tell myself it may be a good thing and we can be fully focused on the league. Even though I don't buy the whole 'not playing well because we have one eye on the FA Cup' talk, but I have to take positives from somewhere :D

Wrong in my opinion. I don't understand how any Tottenham fan would want us to lose to Chelsea in a semi-final.

What I said was a bit different mate, I obviously don't want us to lose...

I just said if it was one or the other, which would never actually be the case and which you may still disagree with anyway but like I said, I most certainly don't want us to lose, that would be stupid and I wouldn't call myself a fan if that was the case!

I'm strangely relaxed about this game, what will be will be. It's sad to say, but I'm far more concerned about getting 4th. I think I'll be a lot more nervous before the QPR game. The FA cup would be a nice bonus though.

Chelsea have had nearly a weeks rest. No reason why they can't play their strongest teams for both matches. I think that's what he will do.
They could be put through 2 hours of football plus penalties. That would put them at a serious disadvantage v Barca, who played yesterday.

I understand what you are saying, I find it difficult that you would take a win over QPR over a semi-final win over Chelsea. Accept that it is your opinion and you have every right to it.

I see it the other way. I really don't think they will beat Barca, so surely they see the FA cup as their best chance of a trophy. Also, the effect of them beating us could have repercussions in the league too.
I don't think the owner sees it that way.

"Sorry, Roman. A massive beating in the CL semis, no CL football next season, but we won the cup!"

Remembering what happened 2 years ago after losing to Portsmouth, a defeat could equally lead down a losing path or a winning one.

Yea, I wouldn't expect everyone to agree but I see it as more of a griphold on CL over an FA Cup semi final win as apposed to just a standard win over QPR.

Sod all this would you rather have this or that bollocks, we should be going for it all.

I want us to win today and go and destroy QPR, it is that simple FFS!!

No wonder with that kind of thinking our players have the wrong attitude. Bollocks, I want us to be winners, so go out on the f-ing pitch and f-ing win.... in the Spurs way too!!

It is a very difficult choice, but winning the FA cup is one of the best experiences as a fan. Much as I have enjoyed travelling with Spurs to some fantastic grounds around Europe the chances of us actually winning the CL are very remote. I accept that CL football will help us attract better players so it's all a bit of a catch 22 with no one right or wrong. Let's just hope we have the bottle to win the FA cup and qualify! COYS!
