we dominated, hit the post, created umpteen chances, 16 odd corners, we shouldve won end of. 2 goals from a guy who might score 1 more this season.

Seriously? I can't think of many (any?!) clear cut chances we created where it was easier to score than miss.

Wasn't Lloris or Sissoko's fault, although they could have done better.

Wanyama is to blame.

Quite apart from the rubbish save attempt, the initial throw out from Lloris was stupid as well.

You couldn't even have a goal which was more Lloris' fault.

Poor but let's not carried away. We get that stadium rocking and it will still be intimidating - I may be wrong but apart from CSKA we didn't manage to get a lead in all the games there last season, or today.

Chelsea are never a gimme 3 points at old WHL, at Wembley and they won't be at NWHL.
Think we need a really convincing win here. If we get that I reckon we will kick on.

To lose this game is a massive kick in the teeth make no mistake about it.

Already sick of this 'Wembley hoodoo' bullshit - this just further fuels the fire and mentally undermines our plans.

A depleted Chelsea side with internal strife should have been the perfect tonic to start our 'home' campaign off and whilst a point wouldn't have truly sufficed, we could have gone home with some semblance of positivity over an enthralling match yet we conspire to fuck it up completely and end the game on a huge downer whilst giving one of our main rivals a huge fucking boost to their title defence.

Gutted just isn't the word....

He's Chelskis manager = scumbag. Says so in the dictionary

Ah ok, I get it. I thought he had done or said something hence the hatred towards him.

So by that definition, there's quite a few Bellends in the PL..........Pep, Wenger, Maureen, Bilic.........

How as Wembley got anything to do with Lloris costing us the match?

That shot should of been saved otherwise the game ends 1-1and everyone is reasonably happy with the performance.

We created as much against them there as we did in the 2-0 win last season. Nothing seemed to drop for us, uncharacteristically poor from Hugo and a top free-kick.

it's a perfect script for the media this whole Wembley hoodoo bollocks though, they're going to love this.

One thing is certain after this game. Wembley is NOT the problem.
The problem is our effectiveness, or lack of it. But this will change and soon. I'm not worried, if somewhat gutted.

It is a problem rather than the problem.

We were clearly at an advantage over Chelsea today, but it wasn't a true home advantage. Chelsea have played more games in that stadium than we have!

Glaringly obvious what we need.

to us yes but it has been for the last 3 seasons, the trouble is the club don't seem to act on it, other than having unrealistic dreams of Martial etc..... We need that game changer as others said on Friday but that's a dream too!

We bossed that. Message to Poch: If we get a free kick in their half don't tap it sideways and go back to the goalie. Put it somewhere where we might score.

All we had to do was hold them to a draw. So much more pressure on them after the game. Our mentality is fucking dreadful against the chavs
And has been for a long time now they always seem to believe they can and will beat us and they generally do.
Bit of a shame though 2nd game in and defeat already last year November before we lost to Chelsea.

Well to be fair if Vic controlled that and moved it on ... Or tracked alonso's run which he didn't even try to. Both equally at fault but the break was on in Hugo's defence...

I hope people see how important Dier is to our set up now by being so utilitarian...

It wasn't even how important Dier is it was the fact that Wanyama has just come back from injury and looked completely shot.

Small margins as usual :(
