Happy with that lineup, Winks deserves the start, only change I would make would be if Toby was fit Dier would start in midfield ahead of Wanyama, other than that it's a perfect lineup imo.

Fast passing and short movements to open triangles, technically we've got their number.

Burnley beat Liverpool 2-0 with only 16% possession. They are very well organized and have 10 outfield players who will work very hard for the cause if the match is scoreless. Can this lineup we put out there break them down? Is there a creative passer in the mix who can create a through ball chance, or someone who can line up the ball 30 yards out on either foot and piledrive it towards goal at 60+ MPH? Cause I think that's how we'll break them down today.

I think Eriksen is going to be everything in this game. If they snuff him out, we might struggle a bit. I would've opted for Son, simply because he is probably the second best ball striker with both feet in the squad. Metronomic passing and fast transitions in a match where the opponent gives you the ball the entire team isn't as critical as the ability to creatively pick the lock in the final third. We've found this out a lot over the years, so I think it'll be up to the Eriksen/Kane duo to get something for us early here.

But it's the plodding supply line to the front group, especially against obdurate fuckers like Burnley, that's a major part of our problem and Winks is an antidote as a cm, Dembele is a toxin.

Yeah, dunno how Dembele has stolen a living as a professional footballer for the last 10+ years, fooling manager after manager. You've found him out.
