I was not happy with the set-up today. The 3 in midfield? All looked very stodgy to me. Thought Winks was very quiet. Did Dembele go off with a knock? Didn't seem to be a tactical substitution.

Hard fought win, some good performances. Dyche is a dreadful whinger, hate moaning managers. Burnley would be top if refs weren't biased against them!
When it comes to moaning whingers and apportioning blame on refs and officials when their teams lose or drop points, Sean Dyche has nothing on Wenger or Mourinho.....

Its funny how you can watch the exact game and have a complete different view. I thought Winks was excellent, lots of quick first time passes and his movement after he passes is actually better than most of our seasoned players.

Alli without his goal was horrendous, but he's dangerous and creates chances, i think he really needs to improve his use of the ball though, its the one area of his game that is lacking, far to often he cheaply losing possession or gives it away, but he is still learning and glad he got the goal.

Just seen the Sissoko foul and he was reckless initially but it seemed to me he pulled his foot back, he certainly didn't follow through so the intent to harm wasn't there in which case I can easily understand why the referee only gave a yellow.
I will also credit the Burnley player who clearly wasn't hurt, but could have rolled around in agony which might have swung the balance towards red.

Totally agree regarding Winks - love his speed of thought and passing, and movement off the ball. Dembele and Wanayama look like 8 year olds in comparison. Winks is Iniesta and Xavi esque in his play.

I thought Winks was quiet too, yet some thought he had the game of his life... Didn't necessarily do anything wrong, but didn't do much to be greatly noticed IMO.

Burnley made it very difficult for us to play out from the back in the first half, and where we might have hoped for Wink's inclusion to counteract that to an extent, I don't think it did. I thought our midfield was quite rubbish until Dembele went off.
