The only thing that concerns me after that game is our front line. I really hope we can bring someone in this window. Aside from that it is what it is, sometimes you have to win ugly. At least we have some time before Utd.
Yeah. In summer we have to go buy big on a forward

Post game interview “so Brendan, do you think this is your best chance to win the FA Cup this season?”

Pedro Porro had his worst game in Spurs shirt since his first 2 games...almost every corner & set piece he took was piss poor...But then , he got too pissed off at himself and took a shot and scored that screamer of a goal
And his attitude and passion is always there... no matter what happens.

Also Hojberg cameo sums him all up

Great block, 1 great cross field pass, 2 awful 5 yard passes and alot of pointing

Am I the only one that actually appreciates our style of play after 4-5 years of dour shite? Ange himself has said his players will make mistakes but those mistakes are on him not the players? Most of the mistakes I seen, yes players did make some but that’s what happens when a manager gives players freedom. We are half a season into a new regime…. Don’t slaughter players after half a season.
Good post.

I think the biggest miss tonight was in midfield.
I was Hoping that we would take skip
Off and go with a midfield of
lolo 6
Gio 8
Kulu 10

we would have controlled it better for sure.
Skip for All His hard work technically is not there for our midfield
He is a good Enforcer to see a game out for the last 20 but would not have him on if chasing a goal.

Job done, played well for most of it but lacked the edge, and a bonus scare at the end per standard.

We have a tendency to overplay a lot and make an extra touch or pass instead of shooting the ball from great positions. In general, I feel the decision making is where we can improve the most.

Yeah that was my take too. Didn’t think we were half as bad as people are saying, and actually played very well for the first 20 mins just let down by the front three. Richarlison and Johnson unconvincing and wasteful with so many poor decisions made. Kulu largely uninvolved and sluggish early on.

Going to watch it again to try to get a feel for how the middle three worked together. Seemed pretty good for a while then became disjointed, with Skipp probably the least impressive.

build up is very good still and once we get better players up front we’ll be creating a whole lot more

It's all too predictable after the first 15-20 minutes.

To start with we are playing balls over the top, ball into the feet and looking sharp! ....then we play the ball to feet slowly and go sideways, sideways, forward, back, back, back, forward, sideways, sideways ...... And repeat!

Oh Davies has gone about his job as well as I had expected. He is a solid pro and one I think many will only appreciate once he leaves.

Not sure many of us expected him to be this competent in a back 4. Well not me anyway

A lot of them looked dead on their feet tonight.
The football we play requires a lot of energy and sprints.

We will be better for the minutes Bentancur got and the 9 days until the next game.

Can we just stop slagging our players off, for fucks sake.
All fucking game, Skipp's shit, Hojbjerg's shit, the world and their dog are shit!

Really fucking grates.
I can’t go in the match thread during games any more. Does my nut in.

Bloody hell that was a tough watch!
You then get that moment of pure magic from Porro and I don’t think I’ll ever forget it.

onto the next round COYS!
