Another advantage of Deki in the 10 is that he has enough of a physical presence to occupy the CBs and hold the play up when Kane goes wandering

Enjoyable first half but we're just going into a period of energy conservation where the movement has dropped off.
Hopefully we can consolidate for the rest of this half then come out reenergized.

Just think, if Son had not mis controlled that pass the ref would not have pulled it back for the free kick...

So you think we are cutting them open with our attacks? That we aren't leaving massive spaces in front of our defence.
Son and Danjuma have both been through, Royal had a header off the line and the movement has been better. Take what you can get, its an improvement

The players can’t be in two places at once? We either play everyone behind the ball and create Jack Shit or we push toward like we are today, create chances but give the opposition a chance on the counter. Bring in the few upgrades we require and get Bissouma match fit and we should have the quality and fitness to attack and then recover in time defensively.

You can see why teams always feel they can get back in it against us, we score, drop off, lose intensity… and five minutes later the stadium seems silent.

If London is anything like the North East at the mo it’s potentially quite hot in and around the pitch… hard to play high intensity football in the heat.

Regardless of who takes over next season I'd like to see us continue with using this 4-2-3-1 formation. Just feel a lot more balanced and comfortable.

Skipp and Bissouma have been a good pairing, and Kulu looks like he can really own the number 10 role.
