Not really top quality for us either. It would've been so interesting to see reviews of him if he was....say french, dutch or something like that.

He would have been killed in here for lack of quality....and most of you know that's the truth.

Michey, if anything JJ has been 'over-attacked' on various MBs including here in the last two years, not over-praised

Think it's because, in recent years, they haven't been a million miles away from us in terms of underachievement, yet everyone (neutral fans and the press) seems to have sympathy with them, calls them 'long suffering', while Spurs fans are just wingers and fickle.

I think that sums it up for me aswell

Newcastle fans making a bit of noise...maybe they should worry about the "revival" they are going through under 'King Kev'

It's strange, isn't it? But I really do. I'm praying every game they lose, I've actually started following other relegation candidates' results (was gutted Brum lost yesterday).

you summed it up pretty much perfectly for me.

given my age aswell, i grew up with the memories of the 7-1 humbling at st.james park and then when they knocked us out of the cup semi's in 99ish?

they were not very pleasant days. I despise newcastle so much.

They are passsionate though the Newcastle fans, I mean they take their shirts off and have scarfs and everything . They also boo their team off the field every other week, leave games with about 20 mins left and sack a manager who had that very average team in mid table, what were they expecting under Allardyce top 4!?

if anything fans are more forgiving of foreign players and the shit that Bent is getting blows your theory right out of the water.

I think what's happening at Newcastle this season is, quite frankly, intriguing.

It's like watching the movie "From Dusk til Dawn".

First half of the season is solid, run of the mill.

Second half is a complete horror-show.

And there's a bit in the middle where you go, "What the fuck happened there!!!????", when the vampires/Kevin Keegan arrive.

That, and the fact that whilst we get respect from the likes of Everton, City etc. (ie other big clubs who had been in the doldrums till recently) Newcastle imagine in their tiny minds they're a bigger club than us....seriously! :duh:

I am genuinly baffled why Spurs fans hate Newcastle so much.

But i feel it too! I think i only hate Arsenal and Chelsea more (and Chelsea only sometimes.)

I lived next door a Sunderland supporting household when I was growing up so I guess thats where my hatred comes from.

Yeah hopefully Newcastle will get relegated then we can relieve them of Damien Duff and make him the player he was at Blackburn (and ocassionally Chelski)!

I honestly don't know why I hate them, I just do.

I really hope we hammer them at the Lane, it'd be about bloody time!

My parents (both huge Spurs fans) were beaten up at Newcastle.

Both in their 50's (at the time) my mum was punched in the face twice and my dad trying to protect her was beaten to the ground by a bunch of twenty something year old geordie wankers, both of them ended up in hospital.

I hate those geordie wankers with a passion and will spit on their relegation wake!

I hate them because they're one of those teams that throws money at players in desperation (like West Ham) and I want to see it all backfire on them.
Also, all this shit about the most passionate fans pisses me off. Where were they when they used to get pitiful numbers, compare that to Man City who still used to pull in 35,000 in Div 2.

im embarrased to admit, i kinda liked them under keegan's 1st stint:oops:, was so glad when the nob dalglish sold us ginola:bowdown:. their biggest mistake was getting rid of robson, he did fantastic for them and they've been going downhill ever since, paying huge wages to mercenaries:duh:
