In the past 24 hours i have witnessed so much negativity over our squad, levy, money spent etc etc.

Absolutely appalling and quite embarrassing that now it has resulted me to show some of you negative rats a glimpse of what certainly looks to me a bloody AMAZING future for Tottenham Hotspur.

Lloris - one of the best keepers in world football (easily in the top 5 imo he is in my top 3) thats all i want to say about Hugo Boss.

Vertonghen - Rolls Royce kinda player, world class imo, time is on his side to become our Ledley King. Also we have a very very similar type of player to Jan in Vlad Chiriches (can only be a good thing right?) who i think will be one excellent addition.

Sandro - The Beast of White Hart Lane, will exterminate anything that comes his way. A legend in the making. Also we have a similar player in Ettiene Capoue (thank god he is only out for 4 weeks) A very knowledgable gooner friend of mine after watching Ettiene a few times has already likened him to Patrick Vieira, cool stuff i suppose.

Erik Lamela - In my hearts of hearts i GENUINLY believe he will replace Bale and become one of the greatest players to grace White Hart Lane. A beautiful footballer that will be the MAIN man and the face of THFC. We have signed one hell of a player here guys.

Christian Eriksen - THE creative spark that we have dearly missed after the loss of Luka Modric and VDV , set piece specialist, super intelligent, quick, both footed, techincally gifted and is ONLY 21. One of the most sought after youngsters in europe decided to join the AVB revolution. Will be our focal point of attack.

Roberto Soldado - I find it hilarious a few are already doubting this player. In the words of Ekotto i just want to say ... LOL ... In the past 2/3 years he has been the best finisher in europe only Messi and Ronaldo have topped him. He was my NUMBER1 striker target for a while. Absolutely deadly in the box and will be our Ruud Van Nistlerooy.

I can actually go on and mention other players who deserves to be mentioned such as Paulinho, Holtby (i think he will be special this kid), Kaboul, Dembele, Walker etc.

The spine of our team is frightening ONCE it has been gelled. We have too much quality to suggest that we will start to explode in no time.

Oh forgot to mention we have AVB!!! a manager who will only bring the best out of every single talented group of players we have. You can see it in his ginger eyes how passionate he is about this club, You only have to look at the team spirit and morale to show that something really special is happening.

All day i havent stopped thinking how special this team will become/is becoming.

Not one team is pefect, every team has a weak point just like us (for example many doubting Danny Rose) who imho is not good enough to be a first teamer but has every right to prove me and the doubters wrong. But come on look at the whole picture .... Almost 85-90% of this team is looking sooooo strong and exciting. Dont let something small (that every club has) ruin your judgement and start talking absolute dog shite.

The only direction this club is movin to ....

Agree. Once the new players have gelled, we are in for some excitement.

Seen as though a lot of negativity has been poured on our Full backs, I would like to add that there is only one RB I would rather have that plays in the EPL (Ivanovic) than Walker. We are not perfect but our squad is a lot better than last year (our record points total in the EPL year).

Some people are never satisfied and will always try to find fault. We have spent over 100 million quid and yet some are moaning because we have approximately broken even. We should have apparently spent many more millions to 'show our ambition'. You have correctly characterised this as 'appalling and embarrassing'. More than that: it's a fucking disgrace.

We should be delighted that we have recruited so many excellent players without placing the club in a difficult financial position, yet we have people moaning about the absence of a 'worldy' left back or creative midfielder. I wish these people would just fuck off and 'support' Man City or Chelsea. They clearly want a sugar daddy and all that goes with it, so those clubs would be more appropriate homes for them. They won't be missed.

As for your assessment of the mighty Spurs, I share it. We have a young squad full of excellent players led by who I believe to be an outstanding head coach. This season will be exciting as the players bed in and learn each others' game. Beyond that, as they mature individually and as a team, the sky is the limit.

No one for a second disagree with this but despite having one of the best windows of all time in terms of incomings. However it means fuck all if your rivals have done better but let me put it this way, we have lost the only world class gamechanging player we have and our direct rivals still have theirs and the other one has now got one.

We have had alot of changes and they will take time to gel but that means us fighting for fourth will even harder as the guys. Last season AVB's bedding period meant we made early mistake that cost us at the end, we cant afford to do that anymore especially with our rivals stronger.

In terms of Big players who wanted to leave, Rooney, Suarez and Bale all wanted to go except the latter didnt put in a formal transfer request and instead skipped training. The other were kept by their clubs and we let go of our star after he started skipping training and going awol. This has imo may of been one of the biggest mistakes that we made as it was clear bale wanted to go as soon as qualification was unlikely, we didnt even play sunderland on the final day and his agents started negotiations with Madrid.

Now we may of got a world record fee but we did something the other two clubs didnt do, we rewarded a player for bad behaviour. Even when Ronaldo was pulling these stunts with Man Utd they said to him and sold him for the same price next year. Again some people may say big deal wow, who cares we got 86million but what happens when or if we miss out on CL again. If vertonghen doesnt turn up to training does that mean he should be free to leave? Should Eriksen leave once he becomes a star? Should Lamela leave if Barcelona want him, I mean we arent in the CL?

When Modric threw a fit we stood firm and sent a message to our rivals we will not sell to you guys and clubs didnt even try to come back for a bid next season. Yet we are saying you are free to leave abroad as long as you dont go to our rivals and to add insult to injury, Us selling Bale actually made our Rivals stronger.

You cant really a build for the top 4 if you lose your best players and have to wait for the next group to come through. We were one point from getting CL last season and it is fair to say a player like Moutinho would of cost £20mill and probably got us that extra 2 points we needed. We would of made our money back as well with extra money from CL and not just the shirt deals and all that bollocks.

We have been playing poor under AVB and slowly making progress with Bale last season covering our weaknesses but waiting for a team to gel whilst our rivals play more like a team and add a player like Ozil. Dont get me wrong we looked good this season and with our added signings it looks positive but we have long way to go.

Also AVB man management skills will tested in a way like never before as Townsend, Lennon, Lamela, Siggy and Chadli for the wide spots will be hard even if you rotate 2 for cups and 2 for leagues. Then if you count Siggy as a AM, we have Sandro, Dembele, Paulinho, Capoue, Eriksen, Holtby and Siggy for 3 places. One of those players will a third string player and yet all of them are international's except Holtby.

It's the lies that people don't like.

First we are 100% that Bale is going nowhere, then money gets spent and it's not dependent on Bale going.... another lie.

People lap it up. It's the same lies Levy has been churning out for awhile now, he just uses his hired puppet to deliver it each time.

Don't get too attached to any of our new signings, they will be flogged off soon enough. We've built a player farm.

But hey ho, lets just enjoy the exciting football we've enjoyed over the past season or so... oh wait, it's been absolutely slow and dire.

Strange times. Hope this first 11 does well to mask individual brilliance.

If Utd or Liverpool had been offered close to 86M for either they would have gone. Also, neither had a bid from a team that wasn't a rival (I don't believe RM ever actually bid for Suarez), so it isn't comparing apples with apples. If the bis was 40m from a prem club Bale would still be a Spurs player.

Bale has only been a game changer for 6 months, we were in the top four before his transformation. How do you know Lamela & Eriksen wont be game changers?

Selling Bale and bringing in Lamela, Eriksen, Pauliniho & soldado doesn't make us a selling club, it makes us smart. Everyone knew Bale was going and Wenger still panicked and spent 45m on a position they didn't need.

We are heading the right direction in a much quicker rate than our means should allow us to.

Chances are Bale isn't going to be the last star to leave WHL, but clubs now know that they are going to have to pay through the nose to get them, it wont be easy and very few clubs can afford the fee's and even fewer will be willing to pay them.

The Future is bright, relax and enjoy the ride.

I don't know what you expected, we lost to Arsenal and had no spirit of course there will be negativity, add to that the scum have bought a world class player as well does nothing to lift the mood.

I would expect people to demonstrate some intelligence, to view it with perspective. I expect my dogs to react to what happens now, with no understanding of a bigger picture; I expect better of human beings. I expect disappointment at sunday's result; I don't expect it to detract from the excellent transfer window we have had.

Perhaps I expect too much.

We've had a very good window but not great. Spending 100m looks awesome but when you look at it we still have the 4th/5th or arguably 6th best squad in the league. For that kind of outlay youd expect a bit better even though we've lost a world class talent. We are in the same position we've been for years, on the cusp of top 4, but have even more challengers to make it than ever before.

I dont think we're any more likely to make top 4 than we have been in the past few years. I'm still excited about this season and looking forward to the excellent signings we've made but I feel we could've made one more signing on the left (top LB or LWF) to really solidify ourselves, especially considering we broke even.

Final judgement will come in after our next couple of games. Still not convinced of where the goals are going to come from. We're not setup to feed our biggest goal throat, Soldado.

You'd have thought in this squad, being a striker would be a dream but no so judging by the whole of last season. They just feed off scraps.

I hope Lamela hits the ground running, because we're going to depend heavily on him cutting in to shoot.

We are a profiteering player farm these days, signing a LB we desperately needed would have gone beyond the sales cash. We broke even. Swoon on that lovely balance sheet.

I'm not quite cynical as that lol and any other year this wouldve been the best transfer window ever, but when you consider the TV deal, HP and AIA deal along with our regular budget, we definitely have a good 50-60 million sitting in the bank.

In terms of flair and game changing capabilities look at 2 of our signings . Lamela and Eriksen .I am absolutely convinced both will be great for us. Roma and Ajax were not happy to lose either one. Why did they lose them ? Money . The same reason we lost Bale. I fully expect Soldado to put away the chances these 2 will create. Add to that the strength of Paulinho and Capoue and the promise of Chadli and Chiiches we are looking good.
We didn't have a bad team to begin with. Lloris, Vertonghen , Kaboul, Sandro, Dembele, Lennon are not bad players ! If I have a worry it is at full back where I am not convinced Rose is good enough. But then Vertonghen can always be an alternative LB and Walker is not all that bad . I really don't know why with Real desperate to sign Bale we didn't insist on Coentrao on loan as part of the deal.
But overall I think we are in good shape and I just hope everyone won't be posting AVB out threads if it takes a few matches to gel.

Just look at the age of this squad! It has a scary amount of potential to gel and improve with a quality young ambitious project manager in AVB and none of the squad lack experience despite the average age.

We may take some time to gel but the new players but we still have most of last seasons squad to play when needed and to help the new guys ease their way in.

I just hope the the negative folk still get behind this team 100%. With our support this squad can go far. With constant negativity they will find it harder to settle and express themselves.

Unless the Spurs hierarchy brings back to the fold Ade in mind and body to give his all for the club, I see us a bit short up front to be free scoring team. If we manage to get Ade performing up with Roberto than we will be in for a good season, when all the new players come together. I have no doubt whatsoever with Erik and Christian who will be fantastic additions whilst Vlad will also be very good. And please forget the usual fast breaks we got used to with GB Lennon defoe on the counter. Our game will completely change with these new players but I see a bright season even though it is going to be harder to break into the top 4. will be a real death fight to the last game. COYS

It's been an ok window after bringing in around £115m in player sales the spend would be am the least I would expect to be honest.

We have brought in a lot of unproven players and we will see if it works out I personally have my doubts.

My main issue is that we have been left with a very unbalanced squad in particular our full backs. The 4 full backs we have at the club Walker, Naughton, Rose and Fryers are all English and all lack a footballing brain. They really aren't very good and certainly not good enough for so called champions league contenders.

I would expect every side we play will target both sides as it is our obvious weak link.

Actually cannot believe we haven't strengthened this obvious weakness
