i never got an email...but i found that about three hours before the game, the system updated and opened the site to all members for the tickets left over, is this usual before a home game, has anyone seen this prior to the southp game
If that's true it's ridiculous. It's a game I really wanted to be at and checked all week. I don't know what the method is but tickets didn't get opened up to me. Watching the game there was a decent smattering of empty seats (which really pissed me off). I live in Kent, 3 hours is much too short a time for me to buy tickets and be safely on my way. I don't understand why a person who's happy to pay the money and sing their heart out should be on their couch watching and spotting empty seats when they could be in one because the club refuse to open up the spares and returns to applicants a day or two earlier.

I know no one here can explain it or change it, I'm just ranting really, but it's barmy. I understand the need for a ballot process, but it's still seriously flawed.

I think your last comment is bang on. The idea of the ballot is completely reasonable for this season, but the finer details (eg how/when to resell returns, and who to) and the execution of it have been far too woolly. As for the large number of fans who purchased tickets for the Soton game and later returned them, I've no idea what is going on with them. You're either planning on going to a game or you're not, and if you're not sure then don't apply. I could maybe understand it if it was a bank holiday weekend or some sort of occasion where conflicting plans could be scheduled, but there was sod all else going on last weekend so those people have no excuse imo.

Sometime fans moan about the TV scheduling moving games, and I agree that's poorly done as well. But moving games to Sundays for TV or because we play in Europe on the Thursday has been going on for years, so anyone who has bought tickets for any game in the last decade should know there is a risk of it moving to the Sunday, and decide on whether they apply for the game accordingly.

There's a cap of £150 per ticket, so it'll be that. However, I expect very few ST holders will sell, and their tickets will go very quickly - you'll have to monitor the site a lot to get one in all likelihood.
I didn't know there was a cap? I am sure someone will be flogging it for some quick cash.

They should start running the ballot this morning so will be allocating throughout the day as they go.

Nothing so far!

Those who have applied, would be interesting to know if you got a ticket and your LP situation as soon as you know... I guess the site might tell us the information first, but if not, it'd be interesting to try and work out where the cut off is for this one.

Nothing yet either. I've been checking my credit card as I usually see the pending authorisation first
ok this is what happens...firstly the system calculates the amount of loyalty points required, and then that is published on the website...after that is known and only then the system will calculate e.g if the cut of is 200 LP then anything above will get allocated at random meaning its like a ballet over that 200 threshold...but you wont know seat allocation till tmw, just the points threshold today

Just checked the transaction history on my spurs ticket account and out of our group of 4, we have been allocated 2 tickets for the Arsenal game.

I have 216 loyalty points and my friend has 177 loyalty points.

The two that have missed out have 113 points and 127 points.

We have been allocated tickets at £71 each (we put the maximum cap on our application)

Ive heard nothing with 129 points.
I also put 71 quid cap.

Annoyingly i only needed 40 points for all the othet Cat A games..

Had you ballotted originally for the fixture?

I had ballotted but was unsuccessful.

So received an email from the club saying basically I had until Friday to buy a ticket before it went on sale to other One Hotspur members. After a period it would then go on General Sale.

So if you unsuccessfully applied for tickets in the original ballot and didn't get an email before they went on sale to other members, you should contact Spurs to find out why.

West Ham had 8k applicants for 5k tickets so 89 points were required.
Chelsea had 6.6k applicants for 5k tickets so 46 points were requires.
