For those of you interested, Film 4 has Those Glory, Glory Days on at 11am today.
It's a film about a young Sports reporter, and passionate Spurs fan, who shares a taxi with Danny Blanchflower and her reminiscing about the glories of 1961.

I've not seen it myself so I have no idea if it's any good, but I thought a few of you might be interested.

For me one of the best if not the best football film thats more about the young girls and their efforts to go to a match and its not really about football just football related and brilliant none the less . I wonder if it has worn well or become dated because its got to be more than 50 years ago when filmed .

It's about how a young girl, Zoe, and her passion for spurs was scorned and ridiculed by her parents, teachers and peers and twenty years later she is a sports journalist telling her story to Danny blancheflower who is giving her a lift.
No one understands why a girl is so obsessed with football, except for her three spurs supporting friends, and her attempts at getting tickets to the Spurs/Leicester cup final.
A young girl who is in love with Spurs and football a sport that is totally male dominated and now wants to be in a career that is male dominated.

It's of its time but it is quite fun and a nice watch. It's on quite regularly so if you missed it, it will be on again soon.

It was written by Julie Welch, journalist and life-long Spurs fan about her childhood. She does the Spurs Show podcast every now and again and is a good listen there too.
