I notice Bentaleb is still on that list as contracted to Spurs, and the following:

i think with edwards he signed a 1+1 contract and naturally we've activated the 2nd year rather than this being a fresh extension. i could be wrong though(hopefully i am).

Watched the U20 semi last night. It was a good watch. Italy made the mistake of trying to just shell out a 1-0 for 85 minutes and by the time England scored, Italy just couldn't change gear and England just continued in attack mode and buried them. It was a good performance from England generally, but helped by the fact that Italy were so abjectly passive from the 5th minute onwards. I thought Solanke had his best game and Ojo was lively when he came on.
KWP had another decent game, thought Onomah was missed though, Maitland-Niles isn't great, don't understand why Ejaria wasn't played.

Bentaleb is still a Spurs player, had to be on retained list as we have a deal lined up for july 1st with Schalke 04
I heard there is interest in the MLS in him and others of ours. That La Galaxy ran trials here in the last couple of weeks and are returning with several to trial further

Agree. Brown is very hard done by. Shows the strength of the group as we've said before for all of them to get pros. Can't remember so many getting pros before. I think I posted earlier that other than Velasco getting released I wouldn't be surprised to see them all get pros. My only real doubt was actually Marsh, not Brown.
Also, the first year group clearly strong, as 3 players from that group have been given pros, when it was only Edwards last year IIRC. If I'm honest, surprised to see Dinzeyi get a pro over Brown. Not that Dinzeyi is bad or not potentially good, but Brown has shown more than him.
We've hedged our bets and offered a lot of pros. Expectation is anyone of them or quite a few could prove to be very talented though other than Edwards none are quite ready for the first team yet
I'm pretty sure I read windycoys making that suggestion?

Tbf KWP's strength has been for the last 2/3 years his confidence and ability in attack. It's what generated his hype underpinned by his dribbling ability it isn't something he has recently developed. As yous say skills mean he would make a great wingback and suit our system even better than he did before
What he has done over the last couple of years is improved his defending, and as I mentioned a few times his crossing. He is ready. He plays u23 football I don't think he is going to face goliath in the PL. His fellow Some of his fellow England players are playing league football so no reason he can't. He has learned to play with his size, so lets see how he gets on

That's right. Any 'Extended' on the FA retained list is always where the club has an option to add an extra year or more.

Hi fellas, I notice the U21's begin next Friday. I have had a cursory glance through the squads on the UEFA site but can't see any of our lot for any teams. (Although I see Veljkovic will be playing for Serbia). Are there any other players in any other squads worth looking out for ?
Also, when does the tournament Marcus Edwards is playing in start ?
