I think so. As long as you keep the core intact then the problems of transitioning are not too problematic.Can we afford to clear out half our squad? I understand Toby and Eriksen will be difficult situations due to contracts but other than that, I don't see how we can afford to have a massive overhaul.
Vorm - Makes sense, not playing, 3rd choice now and we can bring in a younger goalkeeper.
Aurier - More likely to go than Trippier
Nkoudou - Will anyone take him?
Janssen - See above
Wanyama - See above, plagued with injury these days, shame because that first season with us he was immense
Llorente - Contract expiring
4 of those have barely played a game between them but Llorente, Aurier, Toby and Janssen all have a lot of minutes this season. So already that is 4 players we would need to replace on top of a world class CM or 2. We can't even complete 1 deal, so how the hell will we get 5/6 over the line
If we retain the following;
Kane
Dele
Son
Dier
Jan
Lloris
Rose/Davies
Sissoko/Winks
Then it allows for continuation and new players to be integrated without too much pressure. Lucas, Sanchez, Foyth, etc have adapted well enough to the first team too so can be relied upon.
