Anyone got any thoughts on Lucas Digne? I haven't seen much apart from MOTD and the odd live game but I've been fairly impressed by him lately.

I think he's been Everton's best player this season. Not that it's saying much.

Ah I haven't heard of him, anybody got some feedback so I can be appropriately annoyed when we don't get him?

We played him twice this season ;) He has 11+12 in 24 games in Eredivisie.

Haha that's not ideal that he didn't stand out to be fair. I thought De Jong was decent and obviously Lozano but he fell didn't need much to go over.

How’s Ricky Pig getting on this season at Barca?

Is there a chance we’d go back in for him?

Seems alright going forward but not the best defender when I’ve seen him.

Maybe Bale will really move with Zidane coming back.. I also wonder how that effects a possible departure of Kovacic.

At least

If you try to look at it from a netural perspective, there's no reason for Kane to stay. Yes, we got a new stadium but this team is on the decline. I think he will give it 1-2 more seasons.

or he might be someone that is just loyal, just like Shearer was when he went to Newcastle.

Kane might want to catch Jimmy Greaves goals record, and hope we win something. I'm sure he isn't stupid and knows that with only 4 trophies on the table and 5 clubs that are above us in the financial market.

It's too late now. We should have started the changes in the summer window. We needed a central midfielder and a new wing back. We got nothing. In january we sold Dembele.

Eriksen and Alderweireld will probably leave in the summer. Wanyama knees seems to be fucked. We need new first choices at LB and RB.

This means we need like 6 new players. It will not happen. Levy sent us 5 years back in time.

just like your other post on this page (or most post since the loss on Saturday morning). to of replaced Dembele in January we would of either had to sell another CL squad player or buy HG, not many CM that are HG and good enough. he could of gone for a top notch CM, but would of meant either

1, they wouldn't be included in the CL squad

2, break a promise to Foyth and risk losing him in the summer

3. drop someone else from the CL squad.

how has Levy sent us back, we had to sell 4 players and buy at least 1 HG, before the season kicked off. 2 of the players we was looking to sell in the summer have played a big part in our season so far, Toby and Sissoko. we looked at selling Rose but who would buy him when he had just confessed to illness, we wanted to sell Janssen, but who wants to buy an injured player, just like Wanyama. we also looked at getting rid of Dembele a few months earlier, but the interested teams didn't interest him. we sold him in January, he has only just played his 1st game due to not being fit.

or are you suggesting we should of stock pilled with players that weren't going to be involved (still need paying)? just so we could sign someone that might not of even settled

Agree and bank a shit load of profit from player sales whilst recruiting cheap replacements

since ENIC have been in charge we have only had 4 windows we have made a profit

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tottenham-hotspur/alletransfers/verein/148
2011/12 = £30.42m
2013/14 = £12.19m (the season we sold Bale)
2015/13 = £14.98
2018/19 = £4.82 ( only 1 player in or out)

total = £62.35 in 4 seasons we spent less

the other 15 seasons which I'll let you check the list on the link

seasons we have spent more = £327.25m

Levy’s got to have a little go for Bale now that Zidane is back. Eriksen for Bale would solve so many problems and get the fans excited if he could find some way of working his wages with bonuses and the like.

What problems does it solve? Genuinely think a Bale/Eriksen swap creates a whole lot more problems for us than it solves. I really hope we don't get drawn into that one.

It solves the problem of losing Eriksen and gaining 20 goals. Bale and Son alongside Kane, and a more deep lying playmaker and we will score shedloads.
