We could go to £50M for both and still hit out £100M reported budget.

Genuinely don't think either sell for less than £60m and even then, City are interested in Chillwell and United are interested in Wan-Bissaka - they'll out-bid us if they're available.

We need to look at other alternatives imo...

You could probably get Tierney at Celtic and Atal at Nice for around £40m each.

Even though he hasn't been convincing this season, especially at left-back, I still think we're going to go down the Sessengon route, he'll end up costing around £25-30m.

Man U will probably have no CL football. Man C already have lot of players and they'd be taking a risk to go there as they may not play. Look at Mahrez, record buy for £60M and doesn't get a sniff in the big games. I bet Chilwell has noticed that. Same as Zaha's experiences at Man U probably have been recounted to Wan Bissaka. Also, let's not undersell ourselves, we are a regular CL club, have one of the highest rated managers in the world, one of the (if not THE) best stadiums in the world, one of the (if not THE) best training facilities in the world, and importantly have stability between our Chairman and Manager. We also have the England captain (should be a big draw for English players), and a track record for playing and developing young players. The only area where we fall short is wages, but I don't think Man U and Man C will be spending much more than us on FBs.

no but like Wanyama who buys an injured player

Lower clubs that can’t afford expensive players. Wanyama has managed to get some minutes on the pitch in recent weeks. Hopefully that might help to get some clubs to have an interest in him.

Even if his fee is low, we’d still get some money back plus we would save on his wages.

West ham , have in the past, bought players with poor injury records. Not saying that they would want him but there might be other clubs who would take a punt if it’s not of a huge loss, financially , for them.

Let’s hope there will be club/s interested in him in the summer as I do not see him having a career with us beyond the summer.

If Eriksen goes to Real Madrid, would we accept James Rodriquez in part exchange? Bayern no longer wants him.

We’re not a trophy winning side yet. Teams like Chelsea, Arsenal and Utd still manage to do that even when they’re having off seasons. Would be good to reach that level next- glory is an enticer for some players

No. I don't think he's be a great fit for Poch's style of play and wouldn't be worth the wages he would likely demand. We need young, hungry players who haven't peaked yet but have the potential to be superstars.

The need at left back is far less than it is on the other side. I think Rose has had a good season and epitomises everything a Pochettino team is about.

I guess we could look to replace Davies, but again the priority should be at RB, in midfield and up top.

Yes the need is greater at RB as Trippier is shite, Aurier is crazy, always injured and either decent or awful but can cover both RB and LB, whereas Poch doesn’t seem to trust KWP... he’d be better off converting him to a winger.

On the left Rose has fitness concerns that can’t be ignored, he predominantly gives 100% and is a very good defender but he’s poor going forward... can’t cross or shoot. Whereas Davies is a decent defender and can cross but he’s slow as shit and can’t play in our system where we’re reliant on the full back marauding up and down the wing.

Davies is similar to Dier in that he can cover multiple positions but he’s not at the level we need him to be to push for silverware, they are however both useful squad players. It’s a tough one, do we keep Davies and add a new LB or keep Rose and a new LB. Pros and cons for both. RB is more straight cut as the only promising one out of the 3 is KWP and Poch doesn’t seem to trust him which is a shame. Foyth can play RB but again he doesn’t have the speed and attacking intent we require from our FB’s. Fortunately there’s a shed load of decent FB’s out there that we can hopefully sign and bolster both our right and left sided defenders.

Realistic and more prospect.... you’re talking Aarons and Sessegnon. Ideal you’re looking at AWB and Grimaldo/Chilwell but they’ll all be expensive.

Aurier, Aarons, Foyth
Rose, Sessegnon

but he needed an op and was going to miss 4-5 months, not even West Ham are that bad. also the player has to want to join a club even if you pay a team to take him off your hands

I've said about Foyth in the past that if he was playing for Ajax everybody would be creaming themselves. I'd say exactly the same thing about KWP if he was playing for Norwich. I very much doubt that Aarons is much better, if at all.

I’m not saying that west ham will be the club that he will move to but just referenced them as a club that has bought players who have had poor injury records.

I’m not sure who will Wanyama play for next season but I think Poch / the club may not give him a spot in the CL squad (similar to VJ this season) and possibly even in the PL , if there are other players available in the squad that Poch thinks are ahead of him.

I don’t think that Wanyama will ever get back to his best and I think he knows it too and would know that he’d get more playing time at another club and possibly a less physical league. No top club (from whichever league) would take him but lesser clubs may take a punt on him (if the price is acceptable ) and I think he probably knows that too.

no what I'm saying is last Summer Janssen was injured so we had no chance of selling a player that was 1 of the players you said Levy tried to sell high. in the summer before the op it looked like he might of been off to Turkey but for the club to pull out last minute. perhaps it was due to the injury.

Neil Ashton in the Screws saying Poch will be given over £100m to spend this summer.

Is this the Arsenal “John Cross Warchest” gambit come season ticket renewal time?
He’s just been on NBC talking about us. Mostly about how much money we’re making. Interestingly he only mentioned one player by name as likely to leave, with a lot of suitors. Trippier.
