Grealish, our type of player and will light up our stadium, just like the fireworks!

I think he'd be great for us. He's signed a long contract at Villa though and it depends if they can get promoted. There might be a clause if they don't and we know Poch wanted him and he wanted us.

With all the attention on De Jong, De Ligt, Neves etc., the one who’s under the radar at Ajax is Donny van de Beek.

He was superb vs Real Madrid and Juventus recently. A versatile midfielder who presses brilliantly, has excellent technique, and great footballing IQ.

He’s played in a more advanced role to accommodate De Jong, contributing 24 goals & assists in 48 matches. But from what I’ve read, he’s more of a no.6/8.

I watched the 2nd half against Juve and he was outstanding. Wasn’t that impressed by him previously, but his pressing and work-rate on the night was superb. He’s kind of an unshowy CM compared to De Jong, but the sort of player that manager’s love.

Ryan Fraser has been brought up before. Another goal and 2 assists today putting him equal to Eriksen on assists with one more goal.

Good little player for sure but I genuinely think Brooks has a higher ceiling.

He's the one I'm hoping we move for in the summer.

Yeah probably, was just dreaming.

My problem with Dier is that I can't see any progress in his game in midfield. He was ok with Moussa around him and Dele + Eriksen in form. But when they where having bad game - Dier was having bad game. IMHO he is too limited to play as midfielder.

Tbf apart from winks and Mousa it’s been sad times for our midfield. Dier, has had loads of injuries I would not write him off.

Fuck I hope we move for Grealish and Brooks, top young talent that Poch can mould into hard working creative midfielders that ultimately provide us with more guile - and that's especially if Eriksen leaves, and Lamela as well.

Aaron Ramsey's £400,000-a-week at Juve set the benchmark for all the greedy agents this summer.
I really hope the Juve deal back-fires strongly - in a faint hope that things will return to "normal" (if they ever was). Such a salary for a player like that smacks of panic but credit goes to his greedy agent for such a deal that is way above the talent of Ramsey...

He could get a career ending injury before the end of the season it’s a big risk

Listening to 5 Live on the way home from the game it sounded like Mitrovic missed a hatfull today for Fulham.

I totally agree with this. But id still like somebody that has already come of age so to speak. Somebody who has experience at the very top level. Im not sure though. Ideally a cm.

The dream signing for me is undoubtedly leroy sane. I simply cant believe how little pep has used him. Only 23 and is a very top top level player imo.

Son, kane, sane with dele in behind would be unreal frontline.

Along with Grealish, Clarke, Aarons, and Kelly, McGinn at Villa and Buendia at Norwich are two others that could be of interest.

Villa fans rave about their all-action Scottish CM, and the Argentinian playmaker has been exceptional for the Canaries.
