Who were the morons on the latest Spurs show episode?
Bearing in mind they were talking after the Stoke game some points were

1) Eriksen should be replaced because his tackling is shit
2) Lamela has never convinced get rid.

Switched it off immediately

If you kept it on you'd know the answer.

Isn't this the podcast that's been running for years?

Brian Croucher, Simon Delaney and Rick Mayston.

I think the Fighting Cock is more enjoyable these days.

The only good thing about the Spurs Show is their ability to get ex players on.

I listen to lots of podcasts, but - like Rule The Roost (which lost its hook in the second season and went downhill really, really fast from there) - I've stopped bothering with The Spurs Show recently.

Most of the guests are either there to plug some book or they have so little knowledge or insight into football that you end up with the impression that the last time they properly took an interest was when Glenn Hoddle played for us.

There is also this stuck-record mood of 'oh, we're Spurs, it's all going to go tits up' which, frankly I find irritating. It's how my dad behaves, even if we're winning and playing great football.

I like the Fighting Cock podcast but my favourite these days is from the American guys from Cartilage Free Captain (SB Nation) who have a show called Wheeler Dealer Radio.

It has its flaws... You get the impression that they've only fairly recently got into the game (circa 2005/06), and it can feel a bit disconnected emotionally from the culture of fans who go to games and are more immersed.

Also, as you'd expect, the analysis and discussion is of a very American style - fairly heavily statistics-based and quite a lot of that sort of Football Manager style fanboy obsession with players whose 'numbers are good'.

However, if you can find a way of embracing the differences it's actually a really interesting and refreshing change from the 'blokes in a pub agreeing with each other' feel of the other Spurs podcasts.

I'm sticking up for the Spurs Show. It's been essential listening for me since 2007. Of course I don't always agree with what the guests are saying (the example in this thread regarding Eriksen's tackling, for instance, seemed harsh) but if I wanted to listen to people I agree with 100% of the time I'd just talk to myself!

Has this podcast stopped, they don't seem to have made any this season.

Gutted as I quite liked it.

I used to listen to it but switched to the fighting cock.

I used to enjoy the guests they had on and not bothered by the plugging.

What did start to annoy me was that they could be quite disrespectful at times. They'd ask a question and Phil Cornwall would just start making silly noises or talk over them.

He weren't on it last year but the other guy still hosted it. Shame as it was quite good banter

I listen to the fighting cock too and rule the roost. They are all pretty cool and its nice to hear spurs opinions from different places.

This week's was dreadfully negative. Especially the guy Andy Linden. My God he was pessimistic.

Admittedly it was done before the deadline but still, they were negative about our start to the season, our academy products that look like breaking through, and the way we act in the transfer market.

Got fed up with the fighting cock podcast pretty quickly after one show spent more time talking about one guys trip to Amsterdam and how off his face he got than Spurs

I like the Spurs show podcast but I must admit it was very negative this week. To be fair though supporting Spurs can do that to you
