Here are our Tottenham talking points after the 2-1 win against Everton in the Premier League to put Ange Postecoglou's side in the top four for Christmas.

A Christmas gift to save others the pain:
Even the currently injured Rodrigo Bentancurwas caught up in the midst of the fight, standing up at the back of the dugout, shouting and pointing at young Everton full-back Nathan Patterson after he felt the Scot shoved a Spurs ball boy at one point in the second half, with Romero testing that hamstring by standing and adding his voice to the outrage.

My mind substituted “and” to “after Daniel Levy” from the title, was thinking we had something really juicy to talk about.

Do people dislike Football London specifically or media articles in general?

Football London (in my case). I think it’s the difficulty in use (adverts, has the article finished?!); and the content (which seems to be slim, and often not very well written. Articles tend to stop rather than end). There is a tendency to the literal. I don’t personally want to hear every word said by a player or manager. I want a filter, a critical insight, not a transposition. What does the writer want to say and why? In this respect the writing resembles some of the poorer student essays I had to mark. Perhaps I am being unfair, but I suspect not.

So we really didn't find out what either Ange or Levy actually said during their speeches?

I find FL just full of pop up's heresy and repeated sections copied and pasted from post matchday reports.

I understand what you're saying. It seems like there isn't much around in terms of insightful commentary on football. The Athletic seems to get good feedback but other than that, there is a lot of clickbait around.

I swerve adverts wherever possible in life. I like Ali Gold, but this website is horrible to navigate and tolerate!
Yeah Ali is pretty decent. I do enjoy his vlogs, albeit he always starts them out in an almost apologetic manner!

To make football london easier to navigate just block the site from using javascript , a google search will tell you how to do it in different browsers.

If a player has layed hands on a ball boy, they should face punishment imo.
You can't go around touching kids.
