Annoyingly I can’t watch this game live but I’ll be sure to come in here once I’ve watched it to have a little chuckle.

What’s all this about an altercation between Te’o and Brown in training which led them to being dropped?

Apparently had a punch up during a team bonding session, designed to 'build better relationships between the squad'

Think both were probably for the chop anyway and that just made the decision easier. Brown hasn't played for a year, Te'o has slipped in the pecking order with the return of Tuilagi.

Pretty comprehensive really, apart from a 20 minute period in the second half, and encouraging to see some of the bigger names tipping the balance back to England when they came on.

It'll be interesting to see what the teams are next week but I was Jones I'd be keeping Billy in the stands!

Seriously though, nothing more than a work out for both teams. A bit loose, especially in defence, at times.

England deserved the win and had the upper hand in the pack. Still playing an 80 minutes lurching from looking pretty super to pretty shambolic within moments. Gifted two tries through repeat poor discipline when in the driving seat. Defence, especially in the wide channels and around the fringes, also a bit suspect. Also some of the line breaks had zero support to turn into tries, which could be an area of focus.

Individually I thought pretty much all of the pack went well and bossed it. Curry had a good start, hopefully just went off as a precaution. Ludlam had a good first outing. LCD and Genge good energy but need a little focus at times. The half backs had a decent day. Watson started a little sluggishly after so long out but got much better as it went on. Big Joe had a decent start but went out of the game a bit. Daly isn't a fullback really but he's going to play there, intensive work needed on his high ball work and last man tackling. Centres probably the weakest part today, Francis a bit anonymous and Joseph looks like he's lost some pace after his injury lay off.

Was doing so well avoiding the result and it popped up when I was checking the Arsenal score. Annoying.

I haven’t watched the game yet but there must’ve been some cheating going on somewhere. Luckily these warm up games don’t count towards our winning run.

Joking aside, sounded like an entertaining enough game. Annoying about Anscombe but then I could pick 10 players I’d rather not get injured than him so not too bad. 3 more games to go, though.

We’re notoriously slow starters. Always take a game or 2 to warm up. Plus I’m pretty sure we’re lulling you into a false sense of security. I really shouldn’t be telling you that but I felt the result needed some context.

I don't think Australia will be overly worried after today's performance.

Which is good coz I’ve seen nothing from Australia over the last couple of years that worries me (obviously they’re perfectly capable of beating us but so are a lot of teams)

Will be interesting to see how we both line up next week. Perhaps a bit of a swap where we play more of a fringe team and you bring in some bigger names.

My brother was saying we scored an unbelievable try. I think we were just focusing on that by the sounds of it.

I'm guessing your brother is also Welsh?

Yes, he sounds Australian but his names Rhys so.....

To be fair, he’s been known to be a bit flamboyant with the truth from time to time. Plus, he lives in NYC so was a bit early for him.

It was a nice free running try, but England would be unhappy with the available gap.

I must admit I'm finding it hard to see past the southern hemisphere for the WC. There's a shock!

SA are looking good tbf and NZ are still the best in the world so it’s not exactly a silly prediction.

Just started the game now. Terrible fist pass by Davies. Look very rusty already.

Nice little meet and greet 9 mins in. 3 Englishman v AWJ. Hardly a fair fight fight. Alun Wyn would smash them.

Christ and another bad mistake by Davies. Can we not bring Webb back already.
