I was in the camp that he was under rated because of his size. He should have had way more caps. It was probably to do with the way england played.

Have England ever produced a world class scrum half? Never rated Dawson and Healy and they were probably your best.

I don’t think they’re phoney wars but then I don’t think they’re necessarily full blooded internationals either. The truth is somewhere in between.

Fringe players can’t afford to play with no intensity or they’ll get cut, likewise, starters can’t rest on their laurels. Unless you’re AWJ, obviously.

... who rests on his zimmer. :D

I'm so jealous watching faf de klerk for sale. He just runs games.

And now they’ve got De Jantees (spelling)

Other than Smith and Perenara they look like they’ve got the 2 best 9s. Well, unless we got Aled Davies and Tomos Williams injured then we can bring Webb back in

Just a heads up ire vs ita in on c4 this afternoon. Probably one way traffic but I haven't watched rugby for ages now.

Anyone watching the Bledisloe Cup? Game on 2nd half.

Surprised there's controversy about the red card, especially from the 'experts'. Cheap shot with no attempt to make a tackle, to the neck/back of the head of a prone player. I don't know if it was deliberate (though it didn't look good), but certainly very reckless and exactly the sort of thing that needs to be rid from the game. Totally agree with the decision.

Yeah, I don’t think it was deliberate but letter of the law and all that. It was like the Sonny Bill red in the Lions game, but not as bad.

If NZ lose this and Wales beat England tomorrow, I think that puts us number 1 in the world. Which is pretty meaningless really but nice nonetheless.

Turns out we don’t have to beat England to become number 1. We already are.

We’ll probably crash out the group now.

Already lost 3 players to injury and had to change the team substantially. Doubt it will be the last heading into the World Cup, with the track record of these Eddie Jones training sessions.....

Agree completely. It was a shoulder barge with no attempt whatsoever to make any kind of tackle. There's no situation in the game where that's allowed so I don't see how there can be any discussion really. What's his excuse " oh I wasn't trying to shoulder barge him in the head I was only trying to shoulder barge him in the back"? Well that's still not allowed so how is that in any way a valid excuse?

As you say it's something that theyve quite rightly been trying to cut out of the game completely for years so Barret can't have any complaints IMO.

We were pretty poor today, albeit with a weakened team. Carbery went off with an injury too and looked distraught about it. No news yet on the severity.

What’s all this about an altercation between Te’o and Brown in training which led them to being dropped?

Sky have just shown the coin toss live, followed by interviews. They do know it's a game of rugby, not cricket, don't they?
