It's a team of Super Rugby rookies, semi-pros and even amateurs I think. Even as a first run out the Lions should be racking up at least 50 points here.

I think the points total is less important as opposed to how well the team links up as a whole, how well the combinations being tried out today work together, etc. Obviously would be nice to see a bagful of tries though!

Te-o has been the best back. Hogg started poorly but has grown into the game. Sexton has been disappointing. Watson has been ok, a better pass from Hogg and he would've scored.

Faletau has been the best on the pitch but we should move Moriarty to 8 and take him off soon.

Henderson has been the poorer of the 2 but he does look like he's lacking a bit of sharpeness.

Obviously too early to make any massive decisions but I think Hendo and AWJ have a lot of work to do to show they are worthy of a test spot.

The main point though is that it is clear we aren't going to out-muscle any NZ team. We need to play an expansive game.

We should also not let the Sink ever take a tap penalty again
