F****** hell mate, get over yo'self. I don't know if I'm supposed to watch my tongue when replying to such a long serving member as yourself - I've only been here six-something months - but really?!

1. The article says: "...asked Redknapp before joking about hijacking Tottenham’s bid for Negredo."

2. Redknapp was bloody good for us, like it or not, for the majority of his tenure.

3. No, I don't want a war. But those with itchy neg rep fingers - go for your lives...

I appreciate it seems harsh, but I just can't stand the guy - nothing to do with football in the main. Just on your points:

1. He is very media savvy - spins constantly and uses it as a tool (he get most to buy into too). Unfortunately for him, he does it so often he can't keep his stories straight and thus reveals his true character and motives.
2. Never said he didn't do a job. Served his purpose and fulfilled his objective. He is short of top class, hence removed for the next stage of Spurs development, however being short of top class is no disgrace.
3. No war - we're all here to support our beloved team and Andre - and that's what I will be doing toady very passionately - it just spills over into rants now and again, but that just shows I care about stuff.

I'll shut up now and stop stoking fires lol.

I think based on activity in previous January windows (other than Redknapp's rescue job transfer splurge), JJ's info about a quiet window is likely to correct even if Adebayor does head off to Africa.

I think the Summer is where we'll do our business.
