Perhaps such a sale would be Sissoko with his value having sky rocketed after his very good season but with his contract needing renewing and his age creeping up ?
I think if we had evolved the team over the last few seasons with a few quality signings them this would be precisely the kind of sale that fans would have hated but hindsight would prove it to be a great decision.
Unfortunately we need major upgrades elsewhere so I doubt it's the right time.

Let’s hope for all our sakes we aren’t witnessing a Ramos type situation develop.

We don’t secure top 4 next week, Poch will start next season under immense pressure.

We’ve lost 19 games in all competitions this season, we’re in the semifinal of the Champions League but I just want the season to end

Desperate times and I'm not even sure I can trust him to make the necessary signings to drag us out of this.

If we're not playing Champions League next season (or final this time) then he should go.
Team reflects the manager, and they let us down towards the end of every season.

Two games to save his job

I would love to know the reality about our lack of transfer activity. Guess we’ll never know, but if in fact it was Poch who decided we could just muddle through then he needs to shoulder a lot of the blame for how our form has nosedived.

I've been disappointed in Poch for a couple of seasons now, mainly because he doesn't appear to learn from his mistakes. But to suggest his job should be in danger is ridiculous. The problem we have is a serious under investment in the squad.

We've been punching above our weight for years. Part of this is because other teams are under performing, but we have also definitely over performed and that alone gives Poch at least some time to turn the mess around. The irony is we now have our shiny new stadium and high revenues, but if we drop out of the Champion's League for a few seasons then we'll be the ones under performing.....

Been such a weird season. Plenty of games we’ve won despite not playing at all well too.

Domestically it’s not been enjoyable at all really.

He's wasting his time with too many players that lack his commitment and ambition. If I were his brother I'd advise him to tell Levy he's leaving at the end of the season regardless, he's given his all and can go with his head held high.

Can't say that about too many of our players

It was soooo stupid by him and the club to not take Tielemans on loan. We needed midfielders even if it WS only on loan and we would’ve been in a much better position to sign him in the summer

Not much to say , buy suppose what can he say. Can't have a go at the players on TV

Can't criticize the ref for fear of another ban for Sunday which is now maybe even more important than Wednesday
