If he wasn't asked to clear exactly that up, and then went on to explain that's exactly what he meant, I'd agree with you. But he simply enforced his point.
I find a lot of his press conferences confusing and often contradicting...one week he’ll say it’s not about trophies, the next he is saying we need to be winning them...earlier in season he said we aren’t title contenders then next minute he’s saying we should be included in the teams challenging.

Just watched the video, does he mean going into a different job ie director ect and “sit with Daniel, because he won’t be tipping winning the CL

I'll bet one of you £10 that 'journo' was someone who has written shit about Spurs this season, same vein as when Poch said that they will write what they want to write. He fucking loves playing the games.

He looks at the press officer and he looks at jesus and then back at the press officer, pure end of season banter for me.

But as I am told regularly on here, I won't tell others how or what to feel on here, have at it, Poch's leaving because we're going to win the Champions League.

“Whatever happens tomorrow, I go home.” That’s in reference to the semi final- so I don’t see how it means home as in leave Tottenham if he’s going home ‘whatever’ happens tomorrow. I’m not fussed about it

Relax everyone.

Didn’t his son just sign a new pro contract with the club?

He’s not leaving us just yet.

Looks to me like they’ve mistaken ‘home’ for ‘abroad’ and once he clicked on to that, he just become mischievous.

On a separate note... If we won the CL and he left, it would be devastating but we’d have won the CL goddammit and no one could ever take that from us. Every single answer to every Spurs bashing comment would be ‘yeah but we won the CL, goodnight’. Yep, I’d become that person. I’ve taken enough shit from ****s over the years so fuck ‘em all. ‘Got the time bomber’? ‘Yeah, it’s we won the CL past 6’ etc.

I think he's basically saying if I win the Champions League I want a bigger contract to stay

For now, I'm going to take it as him demonstrating the dry wit that he seems to enjoy using when addressing the press.

Asked what he'll do if they win the CL final, basically responds with "duh, I'll go home, like every other game, you thick twat".

Still need a cuddle though.

I normally tend to pay little attention to his conference musings because of him largely being misinterpreted due to language barriers etc. But there's no ambiguity within the above clip. He even emphasises his point with a "for sure" at the very end.

Really bizarre on the eve of such a huge game for everyone associated with the club.

Mate, I hardly think Pochettino would really say stuff like that IF he meant it... I genuinely think he was just stating how absurd it would be for us to win the CL with the squad we have and IF we were to win then his job is done... although in reality it isnt done - still have the damn PL to win...

There's a little bit after clip cuts, couldn't quite make it out as reporter was talking over him but my translation was it was him implying to repeat this ever again (in current circumstances) not likely to happen which is why he would consider elsewhere. Seems to me he's just ramping things up from his comments end of last season in the hope of us doing things differently this summer.
