The four outgoings have hardly played an integral part in our current comfortable position in the league table.

So even with more outgoings than incomings during this TW, we are hardly weakened.

With the return from injury of Dier, Romero and Son as well as the recent improved form of Bergwijn, plus the two new boys from Juve, we may actually be going into the second half of the season stronger than we did in the first half.

I think our chances of getting top four are now better than it was a month ago - especially when the majority of the other top four competing clubs have not strengthened their squads effectively during this TW.

I think the biggest positive is that Conte has been backed in this window. We have two good players in, we have clearly pushed hard for two others and yes the squad looks a little thin... But we have let Dele, Le Celso and N'Dombele go in one window, and not for Levy prices, Conte will see that for what the ITKs have said, clearing the decks for the summer and keeping the players he wants.

You clearly haven't seen much of Newcastle and Everton. Dele in his current form is miles better than anything they have, particularly in the case of newcastle. That's the thing. The distance between the top clubs and the rest really isn't insignificant.

In any case. I'd take say 10m + 30m buy obligation if certain conditions met over the ambiguous Everton offer.
Where does Dele want to go? Its kind of his call at this point.

No chance we'd had offloaded the 4 we did today couple years ago, FP showing his worth there. Been a big problem of ours for years not offloading dead wood soon enough.

I’m very impressed with the 2 new signings especially since Kulusevski looked a no go due to Chiesa’s injury. Whereas Bentancur seemed to play more often than not.

As others have said we now have 2 players for each position in terms of a 343 but we’ve also got flexibility for a 352. Bentancur has offensive capabilities in addition to his defensive play and Kulusevski can play either as a wide forward or behind Kane.
