Hello BOF, Good to see you round these parts again, i cant actually say who it was or it wont be a secret will it!!
All will be revealed...................................eventually.
Too many newspaper trolls on here....

Interesting

Since the papers have reported meetings with AVB and Blanc's agent that must mean someone who has not been talked about in the papers, for there to be a lockdown over this it surely isn't Moyes or Martinez, leaves 1 other person really, hmmmmm

Ah well, if I knew it was your info jj, I wouldn't have questioned it! :)

I spend (too much) time on SO these days, and enjoy reminding sceptics of your record when they nick stuff from here ;).

Good, bad or indifferent (and I've seen all those types of managers in my time), as long as he's in place before pre-season I think we can build on last season's 4th place.

Do you have any idea on the sort of time frame we are looking at to sign up a new manager?

I love a bit of straw clutching so I choose to believe the meeting was secret because DL wants to shock the world and bring in Pep !

I thought Big L was back in the country yesterday? Even if he's not I'm sure he has minions who can do the initial meetings for him.

I'm assuming that as we've met with a manager in secret that it means we would really, really quite like this guy in charge.

Do you know if it was a positive meeting, JJ?

not really. it wouldnt be great if JJ came on here and said blanc had met with spurs officials the day before France play in an important game. All parties would want to keep that quiet. The press in England and France would have a field day.

Isnt Pep in New York lol

lol no idea, just remember reading Levy been in America over weekend, while I am sure Collecott or Eales could handle any meetings I am sure the would be manager would be more impressed hearing the big cheese's vision for the club so yeah I think any meeting will have taken place in America

As I think others have said, at least the meeting was secret, whoever it was with. Compared to the way Liverpool conducted their manager search ours looks pretty under the radar.

I do think all talk of Guardiola is just wishful thinking though. He's said he's going on sabbatical and although he's said to be a 'purist' who will make a 'footballing decision', I just don't see him coming to Spurs when he could have the pick of any club he wants in one year's time.

Levy's in New York reenacting scenes from Taxi Driver.

He's also doubling for Ben Kingsley in the forthcoming sequel to The Wackness.
