Doesnt mean we wouldnt have asked to be kept aware of developments though. We could still go in for him depending on what the new manager thinks.

The secret meeting could well be Blanc (or his agent), this would have to be very discreet with France playing today. Wouldnt look very good if they went out tonight. Plus you could understand our insistance on talking to him asap.

So.........is it AVB or Blanc? Or someone entirely different? A pointer either way would be nice. It's obvious that we're going to be having 'secret' meetings with managers since we're currently without one. You'd hope that the ITK's could help point us in the direction of who the meetings are with, not just that they're taking place which seems self evident for a club without a manager.

As the ITK specifically said a manager and not an agent, I doubt very much it'd be Blanc as a) he's preparing for tonight and b) SSN already ran the Blanc story so it wouldn't be fresh ITK.

I hope it isn't Rafa. He's a good manager but I hate him. He's an arrogant deluded goateewhore. AVB being on hols and Moyes being at the Euros won't rule them out, a secret meeting can easily be arranged, prob even easier outside of England.

If it isn't those 2, I doubt it'll be Martinez either cos Whelan would've told anyone who'd listen. Which leaves either Pep (ha) Mourinho (double ha) or Gary Doherty returning as player-manager.

If I had to guess who we met yesterday I'd say AVB. Would love Blanc though.

AVB meeting could still be secret as we wouldn't want the press to be all over it I suppose. If we are looking at several options it's better to meet people secretly rather than Liverpool's massively arrogant way of announcing it to everyone, which nearly cost them Rodgers.

Secret meeting can only mean one thing to me, meeting a manager without the permission of his club or country as it would not need to be secret for an unemployed manager or with the consent of his club

Whoever we meet with it's going to be secret ffs, for any number of good reason, whether it be Martinez or Pep. And when have we ever known Levy to conduct his business in anything but the most clandestine, stealthy and secretive of manners?
