They are talking to clubs for a replacement and told us they want some time to look for one! I think they want soldado to put a transfer request in but cant see that happening!!!!

If we meet his buy out, does it matter if they want to sell or not? That's it right, just agree personal terms and job done.

We are just trying to scrimp out paying a few extra mill, or just trying to pay over a few years, not just a lump sum (which I highly doubt we can afford too)

I expect our other signings this window have had some sort of payment plan over a few years..

Never going to happen. If we do so we can add about 50% of the 30m€ for taxes. Thats the way it goes in Spain if you pull a relase clause

Because once clubs know you're bidding from a position of need they'll try to get more out of you. Easier to negotiate for something that you want, rather than something that you need.

I've never got this. It's common knowledge that Soldado COULD be on his way. If a cash strapped club such as Valencia suddenly start sniffing round shiny new strikers ppl will Shirley put 2 & 2 together?

Ok you could argue that they'd never no for certain but still?

As an example if you were a chairman and we suddenly start asking serious questions about a bale replacement are you not gonna bump the price a bit on the assumption that, regardless of what we say, if we aren't rich and/or desperate now we shortly will be?

Apologies if you took offence at the "claim" bit. I take all ITK as entertainment rather than necessarily being 100% true, it's no slight on you or anyother ITK. The missus has her horoscopes and I have my ITK

Well the other one from Rebrab who is very reliable was less than positive.

He starts of his post by saying he hasn't heard anything today...so lets not get too worked up. And it was hardly an admission of the deal looking dead either.

Wow, the ITK bashing knobheads have really got their claws out today. As far as I'm aware, pretty much every time wpd has given any ITK whatsoever, he has said something like "my biatch has just texted me", or "just heard from my biatch" etc etc. That wasn't said today, yet, because some of you are too fucking busy wanting to dismiss the info from ITK's, or prove them wrong, you completely overlook that sort of thing & then wpd has to come on here to explain himself in thorough detail.

Then there's the "Valencia back pedalling" statement, perfectly bloody obvious what it meant, and that it was positive, yet because somebody is so desperate for an ITK to be shown up, they instantly jump on the info & completely get the wrong end of the stick because it was clearly too much hassle to read through a couple of posts to see the info for exactly what it was.

You'd think that the 275 daily reminders from every MOD on the site, about "barrel loads of salt", or "don't take ITK as gospel" etc etc, would be enough to get through to everyone? I guess they need to up the daily reminders to at least 300 if they actually have any ambitions of getting through to certain people!!
