Is it possible that Newcastle know we are interested in both Ba and Krul and have asked us to buy both now for say £20m, so that they can say to their fans that they got a good deal? Rather than just selling us Ba for his £5m sell out clause which would make them look a bunch of mugs.

Well as it's known they want £15m for Krul it wouldn't take long to figure out they sold Ba for £5m if they did that deal

I watched Dembele live at Carrow Road. He was fantastic. His control, vision, movement, passing was sublime. He played quite a deep lying role too and would burst forward at any opportunity so he could play the Modric role to an extent. He just seems to glide past the opposition and he has great tekkers! Only criticism is that he did seem a tad lightweight. He went down quite easily for a big lad.

I still see him as a striker as he is so quick. With a bit of work he could become an excellent finisher as he has all the attributes. Remember Drogba wasn't exactly clinical for a number of seasons at Marseille and even his first season at Chelsea.

I'd be delighted if we signed him.

We cant sign Ba, it has to be a champions league club to activate the clause and despite us being on course, we aren't one atm

We can sign him if we agree a deal with Newcastle, we just can't activate his automatic buy out clause of £5m.

Dembele anytime have have seen him has been excellent. Destroyed us in the FA Cup last season. What's the deal with Ba's knee - is it similar to Kings? Or is it if he hurts it he'll never kick a ball again? Got to be honest, thought he'd have been a really good signing in the summer, he did well for West Ham in a pathetic team.

Big yes to Dembele coming in and replacing Kranjcar say. Excellent footballer. Funny mentioning loaning Fulham Carroll in exchange. Young Tom is a big fan of Dembele. Mentioned him previously on Twitter. Loves the way he plays football. Proper footballer. Think he has spurs written all over him. Not literally mid you before anyone gets cheeky.

Not sure i'd want us to take the risk on Ba, FFS he could do his knee in at ACN and come back to Spurs and never play a game.

Dembele is ok, but not at the level we need IMO.

Does seem like Levy is being a fucking tight arse again though.

not the level we need? the guy hurt us alot when we played fulham, both this season and last season in the cup. He's still got potential to improve (namely his shooting/scoring) and would fit our style of play.

My main concern with Dembele is adding another player who wastes far more opportunities than he scores. Unfortunately despite our great movement and ability to create chances, only VDV and (Lennon on recent form) seem clinical enough to make the most of their chances.

Can Krul play up top on his own though, can he?

Where's the fucking striker we've been waiting on for ages now?!

Dembel is exactly what we need to unlock stubborn defences. He's a fantastic dribbler of the ball almost in the mould of Zidane and often dribbles passed 3 players. He also suits our style of play. But why would Fulham let him go? is he near the end of his contract?

Time-bomb, apparently. He failed at least two medicals, and seems to be on what amounts to a payment-per-appearance contract with the Barcodes.
