The point of the Champions League is to play in it and enjoy it, and it's good that most of the players who got us there will get to have the chance to get us through.

The moment it was suggested that after Jan, Vic, Nk we would have to sell before we would look to buy then it was pretty much game over. Just too much to do in too little time and on the whole most clubs don't like selling late unless they are trying to get rid. Not really surprising that we were after Isco and Sissoko as both looked surplus to requirements at their current clubs. Now that both seem out of reach, one cant really be at all shocked that a youth keeper and a deal that should have been wrapped up a month ago are the only transfers that might happen today.

Well, it's 230am here in Australia and I reckon I've sat here since about 8pm continually refreshing this thread hoping for anything to happen.

What a fucking waste of time, eh. This has been a pretty disappointing end to the window. It's too bad there's no football on the weekend for us to take our minds off of it.

Anyway, this part of the forum gets shut down tomorrow, yes? I know it's only a small gesture but I want to thank the admin, mods, @dovahkiin and all the ITK here for their efforts.
