I just wish we would have been able to take care of a few deals now with the player(s) coming in the summer rather than now. This seems to be the trend now with bigger clubs (Chelsea did it with Pulisic and I believe Liverpool did this as well). This strategy doesn't rock the boat of the current club makeup and that seems to be a big issue for Poch.

There are going to be several spots needing filled this summer (especially if Eriksen and Toby leave) and I just don't see things going easily or well in terms of filling those spots. To not get anything in for one full year and then expecting everything to be taken care of next summer is super optimistic and more likely unrealistic. Prices are only going to go up and our recruitment/transfer strategy seems to be in a static if not archaic state.

Berge is the one name that stands out in this regard for me but maybe Poch isn't convinced. I'm sure there are others - young players about to burst on the scene who if we can catch even just one window before they blow up, it would allow us to get them before they are out of reach due to Barca and Madrid wanting them and being our competition.
