Not sure how anyone thought things would have fundamentally changed with DL still being the guy ultimately sanctioning deals.
The tone of this suggests that anything but this outcome was obvious.

I don’t agree. Especially as I wonder why he’d come to work in those conditions and restrictions.

I do wonder based on the Goats and other ITK info if Mendes is going to be particularly happy, if he is working with Paratici to get Traore to Spurs and then Levy all of a sudden pulls the plug surely there might be consequences down the line.

We have numerous public ITKs (including Hercules, today) saying how Levy has taken a back seat and Don Paratici is running this window. Now we have one anonymous ITK spouting a load of anti-Levy stuff and saying Paratici has no involvement with the window?

You couldn't have got that wronger if you'd tried deliberately.

Yeah, right.
Work on your reading comprehension. That’s not what the Goat said at all.

Since Son joined Spurs they both missed in one time 5 games from 231 possible. Two of them because Son was suspended after red card or played for Korea. The probability of this I would say is really unlikely

If the COVID break hadn't happened we would have played like 8 weeks without both of them at the end of the 19/20 season.

I might be misinterpreting the tone in this post but watch it.

I think everyone know show The Goat works now and also knows we're in constant dialogue behind the scenes with all the ITKs.
He’s been weird with a post of mine related to what The Goat said. Not sure he gets it, really

We need the Don but wouldn't blame him if he walked now. Looks like a major governance issue right at the top.

"buyers market" as well ?

Apart from Sarr we haven't really made any hugely opportunistic signings for cheap fees. We've paid about market value for Romero, Gil and Emerson.

Maybe value wise... but also I don't think those three would have moved otherwise?

With all the ITK and movements on Emerson, would that have happened if it wasn't for this market?

If everyone is convinces Levy is so penny-pinching, why would he hire a second DoF at a cost of many millions a year and then completely ignore him and do the role himself?

Again, you're just wrong.

Levy ultimately signs the cheques and has veto on selling players. Paratici and Hitchen have done all the work but the yes/no decision is up to Levy.

If we really are done, I wanna know who Paratici has been on the phone to all this time during matches etc. His Mum?

I've learnt over the windows that there comes a certain stage at which point you can see exactly how the window will turn out.

I think this window people started showing concern at exactly the right time. I think it was fair game.

In the past we've had people whinging from late July, early August, which is ridiculous and I didn't think it was as bad this year.

I think people have had every right to 'bedwet' as they've been more patient.

And this I think is the biggest issue of all, not just in football but in life.

In the UK you don't even have the RIGHT to a roof over your head. To feel you have the right to have a tantrum over football transfers is just childish. People do have a right to be childish, but at least could recognise that they are being childish.

Twitter and Facebook have so much to answer for.

He hasn't. Up until this Fab has been in control. That said this is the first deal where it's been about serious money up front. As long as Fab has been getting good creative deals through with loans/obligations it's been fine to let him get on with it.

A lot of pressure on DL right now from those that know about football. Not sure he gives a fuck though, table speaks for itself, innit.
