The Young thing makes sense but will there still be players in the deal? Cant see DL paying straight cash but would Villa take players with no manager on board. Long way to go if this is to happen imo.

I didn’t say that he moved yesterday lol. The info is from my mate’s cousin who used to play in the same team as him at Watford and is still good mates with him. I’m not saying he is signing for Spurs all I know is that he has moved back from the Midlands. He was all set to sign for Spurs the last time until Aston Villa outbid us.

Well, according to "his" Twitter, he's going to Arsenal. That's if the Twitter thing is accurate, of course, which it probably isn't.

Has kaboul even played centre back for us since returning from Pompey?

Dont judge him on his first spell with us

Er, so you didn't watch the second half against Fiorentina?

The Villa ITK suggests that Lerner was not interested in players coming in as part of the Milner deal, he wanted straight cash. Can't see that he would take a different view with us.

Less face it, we are now going to find it very difficult to get rid of our deadwood (Hutton, Jenas, Bentley?, Keane?, O'Hara?) this window.

Am I the only one who actually classes these players as extremely important squad players in a year in which we (hopefully) need a large squad!!

I'll close this as I am sure there is a fresh thread being created right now!
