I'm still intrigued by who the mystery 2nd player is that ITK has alluded to. It seems to be Grealish +1 + maybe Martial.
Yep. Haven't seemed to be hinted at anywhere yet.

They ain't gonna get very far with that. They have to sell, and every Villa fan knows it. They were clearly hoping that another buyer might come into play, but it looks like we are the only interested party.
Trust me mate, go look on Villa talk, they think they’ve magically found a solution to FPP and that their owner has got one over Levy.
Their owners need to make a grealish look like the bad guy here to keep the fans onside if he goes.
Think I'm having transfer windows seizures as I thought it said Modric kid not Nordic kid, I'd probably bite at 15 mill, seems to have potential.
Oooo, topicalI see the accusations are like the spice girls on concorde
Flying thick and fast
Grealish kicking off with Villa now, apparently was promised he could go if 25m bid came in.
Just one more thing while I'm here, we didn't buy him earlier because the new owners during negotiations to buy the club insisted, so please stop bleating on about "we should have bought him weeks ago" ffs
Villa are even making purchases, which makes no sense unless there's a big sale happening.
Did one of the ITKs mention a few weeks ago that loan deals can still be signed after the deadline tomorrow?
They've also brought in money from sales, kits, season tickets, etc. just like everyone else.Villa are even making purchases, which makes no sense unless there's a big sale happening.

I.e. tomorrow isn't THE END. We could still be active in the market for the next 3 weeks, signing loan deals with a commitment to buy at the end of the season ala Mbappe to PSG last summer?

Or could they just pay fines if they get some?
Can't teach an old dog new trixServes him right. Might teach him to get things done a little earlier next time.
Football league only, mate.Did one of the ITKs mention a few weeks ago that loan deals can still be signed after the deadline tomorrow?

The plot is as thick as Micky Quinn at the momentJust when you think the plot could not get any thicker........
I have to say that Levy definitely did the right thing on that occasion.Villa's directors would do very well to remember what happened down the road a few years ago at WBA when Pearce tried to play with the big boys (metaphorically) played hardball over Berahinho then sold him for half the price being offered a year later. 25m is a very fair price.
