They ain't gonna get very far with that. They have to sell, and every Villa fan knows it. They were clearly hoping that another buyer might come into play, but it looks like we are the only interested party.

Trust me mate, go look on Villa talk, they think they’ve magically found a solution to FPP and that their owner has got one over Levy.

Their owners need to make a grealish look like the bad guy here to keep the fans onside if he goes.

Villa are even making purchases, which makes no sense unless there's a big sale happening.

Villa's directors would do very well to remember what happened down the road a few years ago at WBA when Pearce tried to play with the big boys (metaphorically) played hardball over Berahinho then sold him for half the price being offered a year later. 25m is a very fair price.

Think I'm having transfer windows seizures as I thought it said Modric kid not Nordic kid, I'd probably bite at 15 mill, seems to have potential.

I read exactly the same

Did one of the ITKs mention a few weeks ago that loan deals can still be signed after the deadline tomorrow?

I.e. tomorrow isn't THE END. We could still be active in the market for the next 3 weeks, signing loan deals with a commitment to buy at the end of the season ala Mbappe to PSG last summer?

Grealish kicking off with Villa now, apparently was promised he could go if 25m bid came in.
Just one more thing while I'm here, we didn't buy him earlier because the new owners during negotiations to buy the club insisted, so please stop bleating on about "we should have bought him weeks ago" ffs

Thanks for the ITK GF. I thought we'd had ITK earlier in the window to say we hadn't pulled trigger with Grealish deal as he wasn't our no. 1 target? Even if he was we wouldn't have been able to buy him by the sounds of it!

No, just Checked. Once the window closes it closes till Jan, no loans or free transfers for premiership clubs after tomorrow.

Or could they just pay fines if they get some?

Except fines aren't the only punishment, there's points deductions, being demoted from an automatic playoff spot, it all depends on the fair play panel. If you were an owner and your club had wantonly broke the FFP rules, would you risk a Fair Play Panel?

I have to say that Levy definitely did the right thing on that occasion.
