The papers today, the Mirror reckon that........
Tottenham have opened talks over the £4m signing of Portugal striker Yannick Djalo from Sporting Lisbon but Newcastle are also reported to be interested.
They also reckon that........
James Milner hopes his proposed move from Aston Villa to Manchester City will finally be approved by this weekend with fellow midfielder Stephen Ireland set to move in the opposite direction.
Which will hopefully kickstart a few deals into life.....Meanwhile in the Daily Mail......
Tottenham look set to let Morocco international midfielder Adel Taarabt leave White Hart Lane for QPR in a deal that could be worth up to £1m.
And back to the Daily Mirror........
Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is set to sign Tottenham's young England centre-back Steven Caulker on a season-long loan deal.

And that's pretty much it. As promised earlier, i'll get my coat........

Also, if Villa are getting cash + Ireland for milner that is one hell of a deal, I think I'd rather have Ireland than Milner anyway!

Hopefully there will be movement by this weekend, this transfer window is starting to become rather stressful. Add the CL qualifier draw on friday to the mix and you have the makings of quite a few nervous breakdowns this month!

So Taarabt is struggling to agree terms with QPR. If they really are getting him for £1m, I can see a few more clubs coming in for him soon enough anyway. I think he'd suit a smallish club in Spain.

Struggling on personal terms at QPR, have to wait and see on this now, fee agreed with us though. Down to player and QPR now.

I like the lad, I thought he'd be a big star, but for all his skill and trickery, he's devastatingly slow. Such a shame.
